[00:00:00] Today Don Gossett's message is based on Mark 1123, Say To The Mountain. Now we don't pray to mountains of sickness, fear, financial lack, rather Jesus taught us to talk to the mountain. We'll have a special resource to help you do so at the end of today's program. But right now, here's Don Gossett with Say To The Mountain. I would like to speak to you to begin this program today about how you can speak strength into your life.
[00:00:27] You can speak against mountains of weakness and overcome. So I invite you to join me today. Please, if you have your hand on your head, simply say, The Lord's a strength in my head, the Lord's a strength in my mind. So I think healthy thoughts. I think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of a good report. I have the mind of Christ. Hallelujah.
[00:00:56] And place your hand on your right ear and say, The Lord's a strength in my ears. So I can hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. And thank you, Lord, that you give physical strength to my ears, where I'll be able to hear well. Now place your hand above your eyes and say, The Lord's a strength in my eyes. So I have good vision for this day. I see others through eyes of love, kindness, and good will.
[00:01:20] Place your hand to the right of your mouth and say, No corrupt communication shall proceed out of my mouth, but only that which is good, the use of edifying. They minister grace to hearers. I will not be snared by the words of my mouth. I am overcome by the word of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. And this is the truth. And now let's place your hand on your heart and say, The Lord's a strength in my heart.
[00:01:48] So I have a good sound heartbeat for the day. I thank you for this, Lord, in Jesus name. And I want to say, Place your hands, raise your hands if possible, at least send them out. Lord, you are the strength of the hands of every listening friend. You give them the ability to do what you have for them. Thank you, Lord, for strong hands. And Lord, for every organ, tissue, bone, fiber, nerve, and cell in these bodies and minds.
[00:02:16] I speak your strength for this day, Lord. Strength, not weakness. Strength by your grace. In Jesus name. Amen. Well, praise God. I'm talking about some good things for you. And you can know what God has for your life. Now, I know every one of you listening to me likely has some dreams or goals in your heart. And if these promises are based on God's word, I believe there'll be a turnaround for you.
[00:02:44] And I believe you'll be getting healthy again if you continue to speak God's word. For deep down, you know God has spoken that to your spirit. He's birthed it on the inside. But so often, because it may take a long time and we've been through the disappointments, we get negative and start thinking it will not happen. The reason many people don't see God's promises come to pass is because they become discouraged and give up too soon.
[00:03:12] But just because you don't see anything happening doesn't mean God isn't working. Just because it's taking a long time doesn't mean God ran out of options. Your mind is saying, well, it's over. Your emotions are saying, no way. Your circumstances look impossible. But that doesn't mean that God is not confirming his word. The Bible says God watches over his word to perform it. Hallelujah. And he's a faithful God to his word.
[00:03:41] All of his promises are yea and amen. That means if you'll just do your part and believe and speak his word, thank God for those impossibilities will become realities. So don't let your mind, your heart, your emotions and other people talk you out of the victory God has provided you. Let God promises and be right in your life and heart. I mean, I've learned this truth is so vital. You've heard me share in days past how the Lord gave me a revelation.
[00:04:10] I mean a burning revelation. It changed my life. It changed the lives of thousands, perhaps millions, when God gave me a simple revelation about the fact that how can two walk together except to be agreed. I realized I could not walk with God unless I agreed with God. But I'd love to share with you some words that became a discipline in my life. It was kind of like my grade card. I would check with my heart to see if I was still speaking in harmony with God's word.
[00:04:39] So if you know this, if you've heard me speak before, and you know it by heart, simply speak with me my never again list. Never again will I confess I can't, for I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Never again will I confess lack, for my God shall supply all my need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Never again will I confess fear, for God has not given me the spirit of fear,
[00:05:08] but of power and of love and a sound mind. Never again will I confess weakness, for the Lord is the strength of my life, and the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Never again will I confess the supremacy of Satan over my life, for greater is he that's in me than he that is in the world. Never again will I confess defeat, for God always calls me to triumph in Christ.
[00:05:35] Never again will I confess lack of wisdom, for Christ Jesus is made into me wisdom from God. Never again will I confess the domination of sickness over my life, for with the stripes of Jesus I am healed, and Jesus himself took my infirmities and bare my diseases. Never again will I confess worries and frustrations, for I am casting all my cares on him who cares for me.
[00:06:02] Never again will I confess bondage, for where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty. And never again will I confess condemnation, for there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. By his grace you and I are in Christ, so we're free from condemnation. Isn't that a beautiful truth that I hope you really embrace today and let God's word work for you mightily.
[00:06:29] You see God, I say, is the one who declared. Hebrews 13, 5 and 6, I can never forget it. I was down in the Oregon coast for a holiday. I had my children with me and we were having a great time. And I took my little New Testament and sat there watching my children play in the water and the sand. But then I read this scripture in Hebrews 13, 5 and 6.
[00:06:56] For he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So we may boldly say the Lord is my helper and I will not fear what man can do unto me. Oh my, how the word of God can transform and set you afire. That's what happened to me. So read in your Bible, Hebrews 13, 5 and 6. And that you'll not in any way think God will fail you or leave you without support.
[00:07:23] I mean, it's his word you speak and he's your helper. And you need not be afraid for what can man do to you. Now we need to let that sink down in our minds. That God says, I'll not fail you. God says, everything will work out. I'm in complete control. I know about the medical report. I know what their financial situation looks like, God says. But he says, I know people are coming against you. And I know how big your dreams are. He says, let me hear you clearly.
[00:07:53] I'll not fail you. I'll not let you down. I'll not let that problem overtake you. I will give you grace to be an overcomer. So God is saying, if we keep our trust in him, he'll always make a way even though it looks like there is no way. He'll give strength for every battle, wisdom for every situation. He'll give you peace that passes all understanding. So praise God. Come back to that place of peace.
[00:08:21] Quit being tormented, worried and stressed and wondering if you're really going to get help from God. God has you in the palm of his hand. He has never once failed before. And it's good news that he's not going to fail today. How sweet that is to know. And when we come to that condition, that position, we speak God's word. We know that there is release there. We know there's victory. Praise God. There is. That's my action of challenge you today.
[00:08:51] Now, I want to help you. You know, I had occasion some years ago to be in a meeting with Corrie Ten Boom. Now, Corrie Ten Boom is one of the most amazing persons I've ever known and met. And you've perhaps heard the story about Corrie. Very sad events that happened in her life and how Corrie, by the grace of God, rose up and made true from a very dark time.
[00:09:19] Now, when people hear about Corrie, they're absolutely amazed how she could overcome and forgive those who hurt her. So, I heard Corrie at Jerusalem. She said some very interesting things on this topic. She said during World War II, she and her Dutch family hid Jews from the Nazis and saved many lives. Eventually, she was caught and put in prison.
[00:09:46] In the concentration camps, she saw all kinds of atrocities. It was really a great experience and a terrible experience, I should say. And then she had the tragedy of having to witness when her own father and sister were both put to death. So, however, through a series of unusual events, Corrie was accidentally released from that prison and from that concentration camp.
[00:10:15] However, she never became bitter. She forgave the man who killed her family members. And the idea that she could forgive everybody was a great grace in her life. And the Bible says, be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God's sake. If dear Corrie Ten Boom, who I admired so much in her walk with the Lord, could forgive, forgive, forgive.
[00:10:43] What a challenge it is for you and me to know we have the same grace available. So, whatever your circumstance is, that you are finding bitterness in your heart towards somebody, that you have unforgiveness, you have malice and ill will. Let this be the day that you overcome. And rise up and let God's word be your portion. I know God will make his word good. And it may be difficult right now. You can't sit down.
[00:11:12] How can I overcome this obstacle? How can I forgive someone that's hurt me? Understand, when you get there, God will hand you the grace to overcome. Now, if you're in a dark valley, a difficult season, a sickness, well, don't let it overwhelm you. Your heavenly Father will give you grace and give you provision. And thank God he'll give you strength and the favor, the forgiveness you need to be an overcomer.
[00:11:41] Well, Michael Dell will share with you about the main book God has anointed me to write. This change of lives of literally thousands of people all over the world. It's been translated and published in 18 different languages. So, do avail yourself of getting this book. Now, Father, we've asked you today to do a fresh work in every life and heart.
[00:12:06] And I pray the spirit of forgiveness will prevail, that people be free from bitterness, from anger. And this day be forgivers. In Jesus name I pray, Lord. Amen. Well, come to the time when we open our mouths and say something that really pleases God. Psalm 5023 declares, Whoso offers praise glorifies me. Just think about it. Every one of these words you speak, praise you, Lord.
[00:12:35] Glorifies the Father. How delightful. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Hallelujah! Hallelujah. Our gift offer is Don's best-selling book, What You Say Is What You Get.
