[00:00:00] I continue to share with you the importance of giving from within your heart that which the Lord has given you and let you be a source of blessing to others. Now when I share this type of teaching, I'm not giving you theories. A theory in the spiritual life is about the driest, deadest thing I could ever try to feed you. And when I say you can win your family to Christ, this is not a theory. It's blessed reality.
[00:00:24] It's agreeing with the Word of God and you can see your salvation of your loved ones all come into reality. I say it's a crime for us to be powerless when people need our help so badly. And my appeal to you is yield to the Holy Spirit and study the Word of God. Feed the waiting ones who look to you for help. Again, I remind you there's a law in teaching. I cannot lift you beyond my own experience.
[00:00:51] I cannot feed you beyond what I've experienced of the good Word of God. That's why when I share such a valuable truth as my Never Again list with such authority, it's because of my own personal embracing these principles that God led me to write down. And this was the foundation of truth that radically changed my life. When I wrote down my Never Again list, I began to practice it. What did I do?
[00:01:17] Well, I would speak these 12 affirmations almost daily. It was a great way to build up my faith for Romans 10 and 17 declares, Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Before God, I vowed that I meant every one of these affirmations and they changed my life. It was not a formula nor a system. It was God's Word that brought this wonderful release. And I'm so grateful for that.
[00:01:46] And I'll share with you more about that in just a moment. But I want to take a moment here to share a few letters or excerpts of letters that have come from people who hear my broadcast out in Africa. I want to thank you that share my vision of the ripened harvest field. And thank you for your gifts of love for our Lord's work. And from listeners to the broadcast on Radio East Africa, I share excerpts of these letters with you.
[00:02:14] From Jenga, Uganda, this man writes, Hello, Pastor Gossett. I'm a Catholic priest. I'm greatly overjoyed to hear your radio program. As one advocate of Jesus here on earth, I feel so strongly to write and thank you for joining us in our fight against the great ruler of this world, Satan. It's Satan who has caused this AIDS epidemic, HIV disease, that's mainly here in Africa.
[00:02:42] Thank you for your work of teaching many listeners here in Uganda. Please keep coming to us. And from a man in Livingston, Zambia, I'm grateful for the job you're doing in teaching the word to all of us here. The message you are preaching is not in vain for a lot of people listening to your programs. And an excerpt of one more letter from Lugazi, Uganda.
[00:03:08] Your radio program has shown light into my heart and has driven out the darkness that had been living in me for many years. Thank you for bringing spiritual food to my table. Well, I want to thank you that are my partners in reaching people all over the world with the gospel of Christ. And thank God we're committed to reaching more and more people all the time. And I value your partnership.
[00:03:34] Now, I want to bring to the forefront the emphasis on the great truths that God brought to my heart in writing down the never again list. And when I share these truths, of course, I'm not sharing theories. I'm sharing realities that I've discovered in the word. For the wonderful truth is the Lord has confirmed in awesome results. These 12 affirmations I first penned back many years ago. And so I share them with you today.
[00:04:04] For I say I have put to test these great statements of facts of God's word. They have stood the test. So I want to share them with you just as they came to me. My never again list, a bold challenge to speak the word only. I wrote down first of all, never again will I confess I can't. For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4, 13. I know even my own life and the lives of so many people who I meet.
[00:04:33] They have a bad case of I can-itis. I once had that. It's almost an epidemic in itself for the spiritual life. To say I can't get my prayers answered. I can't receive my healing. I can't see my loved ones won to Christ. I can't pay my bills on time. I can't sleep well at night. All of these statements are a contradiction to the word of the Lord.
[00:04:56] For our testimony is and must be, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This is the truth that I hope you'll commit to memory and let it become a vital part of your life. The second thing I wrote down pertained to the financial defeats and failures I had known.
[00:05:18] For 11 years I had known the struggle, continual struggle of inability to provide adequately for my family, to have enough money to pay the bills on time. And the results were often very embarrassing, very undesirable in the main part. I'll assure you they were. But then when I wrote this truth down to my own heart, never again will I confess the domination of lack over my life.
[00:05:48] For my Father God shall supply all my need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. After 11 years of living in lack, and always with the testimony, not enough money, not enough money, not enough to provide for my wife and five children, not enough to pay my car payment on time, not enough to provide a home for my family. There was a continual echo in my voice about that.
[00:06:19] But when I changed that by God's grace and began to speak it, never again will I confess lack. My God shall supply all my need, according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now speaking this wonderful fact, it doesn't mean that I've never had testing since then. There have been lots of testings. But this principle of God's word, this truth of the word, has prevailed. My Father God has been my supply.
[00:06:47] And I'm grateful I can continue to speak this after these many years, because the particular needs and challenges in my life financially are not for my own family or my personal needs, but for the mission to which God has called us. To purchase radio time all over the world and be on stations that are heard in hundreds of cities. This is a challenge, of course, but I'm grateful that God supplies a need.
[00:07:15] And month after month we pay all of our bills on time. I never know exactly how that's going to happen, whom God's going to use to be his source of supply. But it happens. It's the Father that supplies a need. He uses human instruments to be his way of working. And then the third affirmation that's been so dynamic in my own heart. Never again will I confess fear. I mean tormenting fear. Soul sneering fear.
[00:07:44] Fear that produces in kind. Never again will I confess the domination of fear over my life. Why is this true? For the word of God declares it in 2 Timothy 1, 7. God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. I've gone through a lot of fear episodes in my life. Fear of an untimely death.
[00:08:10] Fear of a failure in one endeavor after another. Fear of people's opinions and so many other kinds of fear that I have battled with. But when I let this word of God come to the forefront and I begin to speak it, God has not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind. I can say never again will I confess the domination of fear over my life for this truth of God prevails. And so many people write me.
[00:08:40] They say, Brother Don, I'm just battling. I have such doubt and lack of faith. Yet this is such a contradiction to God's holy word. Romans 12, 3 declares it for God has given to every man the measure of faith. That's you. And that's me. God has given you faith. You're not a doubter. You're not a part of the family of doubt. You're a member of the household of faith. And the Lord has given you this faith. It's not your own doing.
[00:09:08] The Bible says, By grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It's a gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. So whatever you're fearing today, if it's a fear of some diabolical disease in your body, or the fear of financial failure, or the fear of the economic plight upon the world, know that God's word is your word, and you can speak it. Never again will I confess fear.
[00:09:36] For my God has not given me the spirit of fear, but has given me the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. And never again will I confess weakness. For the Lord himself is the very strength of my life. And the people that know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Now, don't consider yourself a weak Christian. Don't console yourself weak in faith, or whatever you may determine for your life. But rather speak this truth.
[00:10:06] Never again will I confess weakness. Why? Because the Lord himself is the strength of my life. And further, the people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits. Daniel 11, 32. And one more affirmation I'll share with you right here. Never again will I confess supremacy of Satan over my life. For greater is he that's within me than he that's in the world.
[00:10:32] Now, I've given you six of the original 12 never again that I wrote down years ago. And the results have been so awesome and dynamic that I appeal to you to let this word of God be in your heart. And I would be delighted to send to you without charge this never again list that it can be a discipline for your life. That's what it is. It's a discipline.
[00:10:57] And you can then learn to let God's word be the very conversation piece of your life. God says in Isaiah 55,
[00:11:25] That's the authority of God's word, the efficacious word of God that will prevail for you. Now, I'd like to say thank you that pray for this ministry. Thank you that sow into this ministry financially to enable us to be a world force for God by the means of radio publications, crusades, all these outreaches. And I thank you for sharing with us. Mike O'Dell will give you more information on how you can share.
[00:11:55] And now may the Lord bless you as you share with me this time of praising the Lord. Will you join me as we say, Praise You, Lord. And let's say it 10 times together, please. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord.
[00:12:25] Praise you, Lord. Praise you, Lord. Hallelujah!
