[00:00:00] Welcome to Bold Bible Living with Don Gossett and today's message Giant Language. Let's join Don as he shares the scriptural truths of Giant Faith through Giant Language. When I wrote the book Dynamite in Praise it was an experience I've never had before or since. The Lord has anointed me to write more than a hundred books but this was the exception of any experience I had.

[00:00:25] For 48 hours my fingers flew over that keyboard of the little portable typewriter. My, the anointing of the Holy Spirit was so precious and overwhelming. And that book has come out to be a blessing to tens of thousands of people. I'm grateful for that. And my publisher Whitaker House has recently enlarged the book Dynamite in Praise.

[00:00:52] is now in a handsome trade size. You can request the book by writing to Post Office Box 75120, White Rock BC, V4A OB1, or Post Office Box 2, Blaine Washington 98231.

[00:01:11] I ask you to send a suggested gift of $10 or more when you ask for this radio offer 77. Simply ask for offer 77 and you'll receive the book Dynamite in Praise in its new enlarged trade size. Now I praise God for the joy of sharing this message on praise.

[00:01:39] And the Bible says in Hebrews 13, 15, By Jesus therefore, let's offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually. Now this sacrifice of praise is very dear to God and it's something we should be employing. So this is the fact you sacrifice praise to God whatever the circumstance.

[00:02:05] I mean, as you hear me today, things may not be going well for you in your home or your life or on your job. But I say to you, sacrifice praise to Jesus. That's what it says by Jesus. Therefore, let's offer the sacrifice of praise. And you may be saying, well, Brother Don, I don't feel well today. I don't feel like praising the Lord. Well, I encourage you to sacrifice praise.

[00:02:34] Feelings are no feelings. For this is what God wants. Well, perhaps your countenance is looking down and gloomy and you're feeling undesirable for whatever you have to do. But my appeal to you is sacrifice praise. I mean, you may be one that sickness has stricken your body and your willpower is reduced to nil. Well, this is the time to sacrifice praise to Jesus.

[00:03:03] This is a key Bible truth. God commands us to offer to him the sacrifice of praise. For if the weather is undesirable and it's foul weather or maybe if it's fair weather, whatever you're doing, if you're up or down, thank God whether you're in health or you're in sickness, sacrifice praise. This is God's appeal. Hebrews 13, 15.

[00:03:32] By Jesus, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God when continually. And this is my appeal to you. Now, you're not doing God a big favor when you praise him. You're simply obeying his word. So today, let's sacrifice praise to Jesus and be an overcomer. Praise God. I want to tell you a story that I have loved to share.

[00:04:00] I think I've made reference to it before. In the summer of 2012, three women came to our church to receive the ministry of my wife, Deborah and me. And their journey for this mother named Suzanne and her teenage daughter, Katie, began back in their hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. They came by Amtrak.

[00:04:23] When the train arrived in South Bend, Indiana, Suzanne's mother, Rosemary, joined them for their Amtrak journey to Vancouver. Well, this lovely young lady, Katie, had epilepsy. Deborah and I anointed her with oil in the name of Jesus. And we prayed for a total healing of this condition. And then we gave to Katie our alphabet of healing.

[00:04:52] Those 26 healing scriptures that we have alphabetically arranged to help people take God's word for what they have need. However, then in the summer of 2014, we received this victorious letter from this mother, Susan. She wrote, do you remember when we came to your church? You had a special prayer for Katie who had epilepsy. Well, Katie has been healed.

[00:05:21] She's going to college in the fall and is learning to drive. Well, one of the things we have learned, this lady wrote, she said, is to every day speak God's word. And they have used our ABCs of healing. And she ordered 15 more of them. Well, we praise God and give him all the glory for healing this young lady, Katie, of the dreaded epilepsy. What a life changer for such a lovely young lady.

[00:05:50] Well, I praise God for this truth of the word. And today my subject is about giant language, the kind of language that characterizes the overcoming believers. Now, I'm going to contrast two different phases about giant language. First of all, I want you to keep this in mind that David didn't look like a giant, but he talked like one. And let me just refer back to that giant Goliath.

[00:06:20] How that what he was speaking was not based on the word of God. We read in first Samuel 17, when the Philistine looked about and saw David, he disdained him for he was but a youth and ruddy, ruddy, ruddy and of a fair countenance. And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog that you would come to me with stones? And the Philistine cursed David by his own gods.

[00:06:50] And the Philistine said to David, Come now, come to me. I'll give your flesh to the fowls of the air and to the beasts of the field. Well, now in the realm of the Holy Spirit, this is this kind of giant language isn't based on God's word and whether it was the expression of pride and arrogance on behalf of Goliath. And well, we have this truth about all this.

[00:07:20] Second Corinthians 10 for says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. True giant language has only the foundation of God's word for the Bible says taking the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. I know there are people in all walks of life who make idle boasts.

[00:07:44] They speak words that can be carried out only by God's grace, but they are simply trying to rely on their own willpower. And Goliath spoke giant language. All right. But it was egotism. It was a display of him being a man of great boasting. So this is my urging you to employ the giant language of the Bible.

[00:08:11] David, I say again, didn't look like a conqueror or look like a giant, but he talked like one. We read in first Samuel 17. Then said David unto the Philistine, you come to me with a sword and with a spear and with a shield. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

[00:08:35] This day will the Lord deliver me into your hand and I'll smite thee and take thine head from thee. And I will give to the cartier the carcasses to the host of the Philistines this day and to the fowls of the air and to the wild beasts of the earth. And so David spoke faith words. He spoke giant words. I say again, you may not look like a conqueror, but you can talk like one.

[00:09:04] That's giant language, the language of the Bible, the language of the truth of the Lord's word. And that's what I want to motivate you today to let God be God and speak his word. I'm going to share with you on my next broadcast when I learned giant language as a young minister and how it changed everything to be a possessor of a language that God honors.

[00:09:32] So I ask you today, are you ready to really move into a new realm of life? Are you ready to talk like a conqueror because God says you're more than a conqueror through Christ? And Heavenly Father, I am speaking to dear people whom I know are in the bonds of defeat and frustration and failure.

[00:09:54] But may this day they overcome this negativity by rising up to speak your word, to speak your word only, Lord, which is the language of victory and triumph. And we'll give you praise, Father, in Jesus name. We'll make our choice today based on what your word says, and we'll give you honor and glory in the name of Jesus.

[00:10:18] And here are five scriptures of the alphabet of healing that this lady, Suzanne, said they employed every day and still continue. And the daughter, Katie, was healed of the epilepsy. What a victory. Here are those five words I want to give you. A. Attend to my words, says the Lord, and let not your heart depart from it.

[00:10:44] For your words are life, and they are health to all your flesh when you are speaking God's word. And then he said, My beloved child, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. And then the great prayer of David in Psalm 119, Deal boundlessly with thy servant, Lord, that I may live and keep your word.

[00:11:11] And then the truth of the Bible, himself took our infirmities and bare our sicknesses. And one more giant word found in the word of God about Romans 8, 11, that this wonderful truth, this quickening word. He said it because the spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. That same spirit will quicken your mortal body. Take it today, friend.

[00:11:41] Praise the Lord for it. And together, let's exalt the wonderful Lord. You know, I know praise is also a giant language. So join me as we honor the Lord by praising him. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen.

[00:12:11] Amen. praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Amen. Praise you, Lord. Teach you, Lord. Amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
