[00:00:00] The Bible says, Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and to His courts with praise.

[00:00:07] I invite you to join me now in coming into the courts of praise, God's holy presence.

[00:00:14] Will you join me as we together say, Praise the Lord, Amen.

[00:00:19] And let's say it ten joyful times.

[00:00:23] Praise the Lord, Amen.

[00:00:25] Praise the Lord, Amen.

[00:00:28] Praise the Lord, Amen.

[00:00:49] Hallelujah!

[00:00:53] Well, you know that word, Amen, means so be it.

[00:00:57] So we are affirming the power of praising the Lord in this affirmation, and I hope you'll practice this often.

[00:01:04] That whenever you're being beset by a feeling of hurt or disappointment and being overwhelmed by fear,

[00:01:12] simply rise up and defeat that spirit of fear.

[00:01:16] I've long time said that the devil has an allergy to praising Jesus,

[00:01:21] and let's praise him and overcome and have a conquest of fear today.

[00:01:27] You see, we're living in the closing days of time.

[00:01:30] Even if we ministers never mentioned it, doubtless many would realize it's because of the terrible oppression of the enemy

[00:01:38] and through the appalling acts of sin openly flaunted before our consciencered nations.

[00:01:44] The battle between spirit and flesh has reached such a screaming pitch that even once stable Christians are floundering,

[00:01:51] being deceived or overpowered by the world.

[00:01:55] As nations pit each other against each other secretly to develop new weapons of horror,

[00:02:01] each struggling time produces more devastation.

[00:02:05] It's more severe than a bomb or a chemical.

[00:02:08] It's the regions and legions of darkness feverishly working against you,

[00:02:14] bringing spiritual weapons to bear against your life as a child of God.

[00:02:19] Now into this bitter struggle, the devil has injected his most demoralizing weapon of all,

[00:02:26] and that's fear.

[00:02:28] Several years ago I heard a friend say,

[00:02:30] I don't know what's wrong with me, but I have a feeling of dread in my soul.

[00:02:34] There's fear in my heart.

[00:02:36] At that time I thought the Holy Spirit was sending conviction in his heart,

[00:02:40] and he needed to repent.

[00:02:42] I know now that my judgment was critical and unjust.

[00:02:46] My friend was just being oppressed by a spirit of fear,

[00:02:50] and he was experiencing deep hurt.

[00:02:52] Now many of you to whom I speak today, you're being confused.

[00:02:57] You need to realize there's a great difference between Holy Spirit conviction and evil spirit oppression.

[00:03:03] If the Holy Spirit convicts you, the heaviness of heart will depart

[00:03:07] when you repent of the hasty words or the thoughtless action that brought the conviction.

[00:03:13] God's Word plainly says,

[00:03:42] Now this is a spirit of fear and should be recognized.

[00:03:45] And combative such is the oppression of the devil.

[00:03:50] Such oppression will not only hurt you, but it'll drive you to a destruction spirit.

[00:03:56] You'll feel everything's in despair.

[00:03:59] It'll cause you to mistrust others, to doubt God and His Word,

[00:04:03] and to question the reality of salvation and spiritual things.

[00:04:08] This oppression is a sharp, terrifying, accusing voice

[00:04:12] that threatens to smother your prayer life under a blanket of unbelief.

[00:04:17] Always remember that this fear is not from God.

[00:04:20] 2 Timothy 1, 7

[00:04:22] For God has not given us a spirit of fear,

[00:04:25] but of power and of love and a sound mind.

[00:04:28] God has given you power, a spirit of power.

[00:04:31] You ask power over what?

[00:04:34] Jesus says to His disciples in Luke 10, 19,

[00:04:38] Behold, I have given you power over all the power of the enemy.

[00:04:43] In Acts 1, 8, we learn that we will receive power to witness.

[00:04:47] 1 John 4, 4

[00:05:11] Long ago, God said to Joshua,

[00:05:13] No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life.

[00:05:18] And we have the same God within our hearts,

[00:05:20] only now we have better promises and a more sure word of testimony.

[00:05:25] We have the Word of God in Hebrews and in James.

[00:05:30] Now if Joshua back under the law could be strong and a good courage,

[00:05:35] how much more should you and I under grace?

[00:05:38] God has not given us a spirit of fear.

[00:05:40] He's given us a spirit of power, power to work,

[00:05:44] power to witness, power to overcome the devil on every front.

[00:05:48] And God has given us a spirit of love.

[00:05:51] Love is not one of our natural attributes.

[00:05:54] It's an attribute of God.

[00:05:56] The Bible says, 1 John 4, 8

[00:05:59] God is love.

[00:06:01] Galatians 5, 22 tells us that love is a fruit of the indwelling spirit of Christ.

[00:06:06] Love is a powerful force, granting and greater than anything the devil has concocted.

[00:06:12] Love is the way to conquer fear, for perfect love casts out fear.

[00:06:17] Note that if we cease to reverence God,

[00:06:21] if we cease somehow to reject His working for help us to overcome,

[00:06:26] we'll have real confusion.

[00:06:28] The Bible says love covers a multitude of sins.

[00:06:32] It's covering your sin by the blood of Jesus and wash them away so completely

[00:06:37] that those sins no longer have record of you in heaven.

[00:06:42] That same love will help you to be patient with a lot of things.

[00:06:45] You'll be patient with your loved ones, your fellow Christians.

[00:06:49] Don't mind whatever things seem to get you upset.

[00:06:53] And of course, 1 Corinthians 13, 4 says,

[00:06:56] Love is not puffed up.

[00:06:59] You won't be prideful.

[00:07:00] So this is my appeal to you,

[00:07:02] that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a sound mind also.

[00:07:07] This spirit of a sound mind, you'll recognize the tactics of the devil,

[00:07:11] and you'll measure every revelation, every vision given to you by the Word of God.

[00:07:17] A sound mind will realize that extra touch required to simply know more of God's spirit

[00:07:23] and not some hatched-up idea to exalt your life.

[00:07:29] Paul said in 2 Corinthians 2, 11,

[00:07:32] We are not ignorant of the devil's devices.

[00:07:36] We are aware we fight against principalities and powers with which God alone can cope.

[00:07:42] Therefore, let's stay clear of unscriptural and unsound practices,

[00:07:46] and let us live by the revealed Word of God.

[00:07:49] When the enemy comes in like a flood,

[00:07:52] the Bible says God will lift up a standard against him.

[00:07:56] And when the devil seeks to oppress you with a spirit of fear,

[00:08:00] to inflict hurt upon your life,

[00:08:02] don't remain passive.

[00:08:04] Rebuke him in Jesus' name.

[00:08:06] Don't spend a lot of time arguing with the devil,

[00:08:09] for God has given you authority over every situation.

[00:08:13] God has given you the perfect antidote for fear.

[00:08:17] It's a spirit of power,

[00:08:20] love,

[00:08:21] and a sound mind.

[00:08:22] Thanks be to God.

[00:08:23] This is ours today to enjoy.

[00:08:25] And I want you to please understand

[00:08:28] that the great penalty of fear

[00:08:31] is it will produce in kind,

[00:08:32] just like it did for Job.

[00:08:34] You fear cancer,

[00:08:36] and that spirit of fear can actually produce cancer.

[00:08:38] You fear calamity,

[00:08:40] and you could be riding your own ticket for calamity.

[00:08:43] Fear of failure,

[00:08:44] and you're opening the door for failure to envelop your life.

[00:08:47] So dare you rebuke fear in the name of Jesus.

[00:08:51] Call the spirit of fear by its right names,

[00:08:54] a deceiver,

[00:08:55] a liar,

[00:08:55] a faker,

[00:08:56] a fraud.

[00:08:57] James 4, 7,

[00:08:59] resist the devil,

[00:09:00] and he'll flee from you.

[00:09:02] Now if you're hurting,

[00:09:03] a spirit of fear will come into your heart

[00:09:06] and cause you to expect the bad.

[00:09:09] You can have destructive powers.

[00:09:11] And God wants you to realize

[00:09:14] that those natural problems you have

[00:09:17] are often caused

[00:09:18] by attack of the enemy,

[00:09:20] by having a nervous breakdown,

[00:09:22] or being able to sleep well at night,

[00:09:24] or somehow,

[00:09:26] whatever way the enemy seeks to bring you

[00:09:28] into defeat,

[00:09:29] depression,

[00:09:30] destruction.

[00:09:31] And those were the results of fears.

[00:09:34] So just give no place to fear.

[00:09:37] Resist it in Jesus' name.

[00:09:39] Plead the blood.

[00:09:40] Quote the word.

[00:09:41] Praise the Lord.

[00:09:43] And once you experience God's miracle

[00:09:46] of setting you free

[00:09:47] by the power of his word,

[00:09:49] you'll discover that,

[00:09:51] thank God,

[00:09:52] you have the ability of God to overcome.

[00:09:55] Some of you need to realize

[00:09:57] that you need to improve

[00:09:59] your family relationships.

[00:10:01] And a spirit of fear

[00:10:03] will try to harass you

[00:10:04] because you find yourself

[00:10:06] upset with the other person.

[00:10:09] And of course,

[00:10:10] when you are harassed by fear,

[00:10:13] you have an attack of the enemy

[00:10:15] that's very decisive.

[00:10:17] So you can be one.

[00:10:19] God can use.

[00:10:20] I know some of you

[00:10:22] carry a heavy burden

[00:10:23] for your unsaved loved ones.

[00:10:26] But you can take the authority

[00:10:27] of God's word.

[00:10:28] Acts 16, 31.

[00:10:30] Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ,

[00:10:32] and thou shalt be saved

[00:10:34] in thy house.

[00:10:35] So also,

[00:10:37] the enemy of fear

[00:10:39] and the pain

[00:10:40] and the hurting you experience

[00:10:43] means that you need

[00:10:44] the deliverance of Jesus

[00:10:46] for the healing for your body.

[00:10:48] So hear me today, please.

[00:10:51] Begin to live the joy-filled,

[00:10:53] abundant life

[00:10:53] that God promises

[00:10:55] to you as his child.

[00:10:56] Father,

[00:10:58] as humbly as I know how,

[00:11:00] I come in agreement

[00:11:00] with every listening friend

[00:11:02] who this day is oppressed

[00:11:04] and beset by a spirit of fear

[00:11:07] and by the result

[00:11:09] of a spirit of hurting,

[00:11:13] hurting within their mind,

[00:11:15] within their spirit,

[00:11:16] within their life.

[00:11:18] In Jesus' name, Father,

[00:11:19] I pray for a release today

[00:11:21] for every captive life.

[00:11:24] And I give you thanks

[00:11:25] in Jesus' name.

[00:11:27] Praise God.

[00:11:28] Well,

[00:11:28] I've shared with you

[00:11:30] some hurting

[00:11:31] that many of my dear ones

[00:11:33] have experienced,

[00:11:34] my co-workers in God's work.

[00:11:36] And I could share with you

[00:11:38] much more about that.

[00:11:39] But I just want to ask you today

[00:11:41] to let this be the day

[00:11:43] when you say goodbye to fear,

[00:11:46] goodbye to the devil's device,

[00:11:48] and rise up and overcome.

[00:11:50] Well,

[00:11:51] one of the sure ways I know

[00:11:53] to have this type of victory

[00:11:54] is to live a life of praise.

[00:11:57] I said to you

[00:11:59] on one of my previous programs

[00:12:01] here with you

[00:12:01] that God has helped me

[00:12:04] to overcome fear

[00:12:05] and overcome being hurt

[00:12:07] by a life of praise.

[00:12:09] And I have made it my prayer request.

[00:12:13] Lord,

[00:12:13] I want to be a bold,

[00:12:15] passionate praiser.

[00:12:16] Why?

[00:12:17] For there's such power in praise

[00:12:19] to enable us to overcome hurts.

[00:12:21] And if you are one hurting,

[00:12:24] just stop and praise the Lord.

[00:12:26] The hurts will simply be overcome

[00:12:28] in Jesus' name.

[00:12:31] Join me now

[00:12:32] as we praise him together.

[00:12:34] Praise you, Lord.
