[00:00:00] Reading from Daniel chapter 4, I thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the high God has wrought toward me. How great are His signs and how mighty are His wonders. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and His dominion is from generation to generation.
[00:00:19] When I thank God about the signs and wonders, the good things He has done, how He worked by His Holy Spirit, I was reflecting on my crusading with the Cruzanians.
[00:00:31] Now the Cruzanians are an island like no place else I've been and it's the largest mixture of many races, nationalities, backgrounds, cultures I've ever encountered in all my travels.
[00:00:45] Tens of thousands of people come here seeking employment in this island and a new way of life. About 60% of them are English speaking and 40% are Spanish speaking.
[00:00:58] What has thrilled my heart is the way they respond to the gospel. Ministering to them has been a genuine delight.
[00:01:05] It's one of the keenest pleasures of full-time ministry to share Jesus with people like the Cruzanians.
[00:01:12] In every service when I give the invitation for people to come to Christ, there is no need for begging or pleading for sinners to accept the Savior.
[00:01:22] Very eagerly they respond.
[00:01:24] The Holy Spirit convicts with an irresistible power and the people just flock forward by the hundreds to be born again.
[00:01:33] What a delight.
[00:01:34] I thank God for the privilege of investing a part of my life with the Cruzanians.
[00:01:41] We will share heaven's joys with them because I've come and they also have received the gospel.
[00:01:48] Well, I was thinking also as I was reflecting on my ministry with the Cruzanians, on this island I stayed in a hotel.
[00:01:57] Outside are those tropical rains, very typical of this part of the world.
[00:02:04] I've always loved rain and the main part is God's gift to us.
[00:02:08] And as I was ministering in ten glorious services to the Cruzanians, I was reminded how God, by His grace, has poured out the rain from heaven upon the people service after service.
[00:02:20] The rain is a type of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and the Lord greatly refreshed our hearts by His visitation from heaven.
[00:02:29] So I greatly cherish the manifestation of God's presence.
[00:02:34] And when I ministered the word every service there, there was a holy unction that absolutely energized all I did and said.
[00:02:42] At times it seemed I was totally beside myself, lost in the fragrance of His anointing, His Holy Spirit.
[00:02:51] And I cherished that.
[00:02:53] And when I would minister to the sick in almost every service for about two hours,
[00:02:58] again and again the heavenly anointing that only God can give would come upon the people,
[00:03:03] and the anointing would break the yoke, and there would be a wonderful ministry of results that were outstanding.
[00:03:09] And I praised God.
[00:03:12] Now, it doesn't just come by accident.
[00:03:14] Every day in my room I would spend hours praying, preparing, waiting before the Lord for that visitation from heaven,
[00:03:25] and I praised God He did not disappoint me.
[00:03:28] Well, such has been the delight of going with the gospel to all these nations of the world
[00:03:35] and among the outstanding ministry that I just told you about.
[00:03:40] Now, my message today is,
[00:03:42] What you say is what you get.
[00:03:44] This is the foundation of the mighty wonders that God has performed in my ministry.
[00:03:50] I have tremendous respect for the power of the spoken word.
[00:03:55] The words of Jesus are spirit and life.
[00:03:58] His words were always with authority they were as he walked here.
[00:04:02] The people marveled at his words, and they said,
[00:04:06] Never man spake like this man.
[00:04:08] And as you study the ministry of Jesus,
[00:04:11] you observe how his words produce wonder upon wonder.
[00:04:15] I was thinking about when I was on the Sea of Galilee,
[00:04:19] how Jesus could speak to hundreds of tons of raging seawater and simply say,
[00:04:25] Peace be still.
[00:04:27] And those hundreds of tons of water immediately became calm,
[00:04:31] even as calm as a baby snuggled safely in his mother's arms.
[00:04:35] And I'm convinced that as you open your heart to my sharing today,
[00:04:42] you'll have immense respect for the power of your words
[00:04:45] in relation to what you receive from the Lord.
[00:04:48] So this is my theme for this program today.
[00:04:52] What you say is what you get.
[00:04:55] How do I base this upon Mark 11, 23, where Jesus said,
[00:05:00] And whosoever shall say to this mountain,
[00:05:03] Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,
[00:05:07] and shall not doubt in his heart,
[00:05:10] but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass,
[00:05:13] he shall have whatsoever he saith.
[00:05:17] Now this works for both good or bad,
[00:05:20] for sickness or health,
[00:05:21] weakness or victory,
[00:05:23] I mean strength or discouragement,
[00:05:26] lack or plenty.
[00:05:27] We can have what God says in his word we can have
[00:05:31] as we dare to speak it.
[00:05:33] Our words, spoken words, are so important.
[00:05:36] And of course you know that your words can either work wonders or blunders.
[00:05:41] It's entirely a Bible fact again and again
[00:05:45] that what you say is what you get.
[00:05:48] You either agree with God by saying what he says,
[00:05:51] or else you disagree with God,
[00:05:53] and you say what the devil says.
[00:05:56] For instance, the Lord says,
[00:05:58] many are the afflictions of the righteous,
[00:06:00] but the Lord delivers them out of them all.
[00:06:03] Yet the devil tries to water that down and just minimize that fact.
[00:06:08] Well, the devil is a liar.
[00:06:10] Jesus emphatically said he was,
[00:06:12] and the devil deludes the promises of God.
[00:06:15] So I want to encourage you today,
[00:06:18] if you are in a spiritual warfare,
[00:06:20] disagree with the adversary, the devil.
[00:06:23] Simply speak God's word.
[00:06:25] The Lord delivers me from every affliction.
[00:06:27] That's what his word says.
[00:06:29] And if you are needing healing for your body,
[00:06:32] declare it boldly.
[00:06:33] With his stripes I am healed,
[00:06:35] by whose stripes you were healed.
[00:06:38] This is what the Lord says about your healing.
[00:06:41] However, the devil strives to reduce this promise
[00:06:44] by some negative declaration
[00:06:46] to try to dispel what God has said.
[00:06:50] Listen, God is more than just able.
[00:06:53] He's provided this healing for you and for me
[00:06:55] through the provision of Jesus Christ
[00:06:58] and those bleeding stripes he endured.
[00:07:01] Now the Lord gave the covenant promise,
[00:07:04] I am the Lord that healeth thee.
[00:07:07] However, the devil says,
[00:07:09] don't get too emphatic about this healing business.
[00:07:12] Well, my challenge to you is this.
[00:07:14] God's word emphatically assures you and me
[00:07:17] that we can take what God says,
[00:07:19] we can believe it, and we can speak it.
[00:07:22] Believing and speaking, that's the two ingredients.
[00:07:25] We read about in the 2 Corinthians
[00:07:28] about the fact we then having the same spirit of faith.
[00:07:32] According as it is written,
[00:07:34] I believe, therefore have I spoken.
[00:07:37] We also believe, therefore do we speak.
[00:07:40] So is believing and speaking,
[00:07:42] speaking and believing.
[00:07:43] Now the devil is a thief.
[00:07:45] He'll try to rob you of your rights in Christ.
[00:07:48] However, God says it,
[00:07:50] Jesus declared it,
[00:07:51] that what you say is what you get.
[00:07:53] So you declare God's word
[00:07:55] in the face of every contradictory symptom and pain
[00:07:59] and hold fast to your confession of the word of God.
[00:08:03] And I believe there will be a manifestation of God's healing for you.
[00:08:07] You don't confess your pains,
[00:08:10] your sicknesses,
[00:08:11] your negative afflictions.
[00:08:12] Submit rather to God's word
[00:08:15] and declare his truth,
[00:08:17] his provision,
[00:08:18] and with no doubt about it,
[00:08:20] with what you say is what you get.
[00:08:22] It's also a clear fact that what you confess
[00:08:25] is what you possess.
[00:08:27] Hebrews chapter 3 verse 1 declares,
[00:08:30] Jesus is the high priest of our confession.
[00:08:34] That is,
[00:08:34] Jesus is there at the right hand of the Father,
[00:08:37] and you make a confession,
[00:08:39] and Jesus affirms your confession unto the Father.
[00:08:43] I believe it works like this.
[00:08:45] You say,
[00:08:46] I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
[00:08:49] And Jesus says,
[00:08:50] Father,
[00:08:51] he can do all things through me.
[00:08:54] Well,
[00:08:54] that confession reaches the very throne of God
[00:08:56] through the ministry of the Holy Spirit
[00:08:59] and brings deliverance for you.
[00:09:01] Or if you say,
[00:09:03] my God shall supply all my need
[00:09:05] according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus,
[00:09:09] Jesus says,
[00:09:10] Father,
[00:09:11] you are the supply of all his needs.
[00:09:14] On the other hand,
[00:09:15] if you speak,
[00:09:16] I'm so fearful.
[00:09:18] I'm weak.
[00:09:19] My needs are overwhelming.
[00:09:20] I just can't get the answer to my prayer.
[00:09:23] Well,
[00:09:24] if you speak that way,
[00:09:25] Jesus must say to the Father,
[00:09:27] Father,
[00:09:28] he's fearful.
[00:09:29] He's weak.
[00:09:30] Like is his master.
[00:09:31] He's defeated.
[00:09:32] For what you say is what you get.
[00:09:35] What you confess is what you possess.
[00:09:38] And Jesus,
[00:09:39] the faithful high priest,
[00:09:41] watches over his word
[00:09:43] that you speak to perform it.
[00:09:45] So I urge you today
[00:09:47] to know you can honor the Father
[00:09:50] and you can have the response of the word to your life
[00:09:54] as you simply speak the word of the Lord.
[00:09:56] Now,
[00:09:58] to confess the right confession
[00:09:59] is to say what God says in the Bible.
[00:10:03] If you say what God says,
[00:10:04] you'll be declaring,
[00:10:06] my health shall spring forth speedily.
[00:10:09] Isaiah 58, 5.
[00:10:12] Or you'll say,
[00:10:13] the Lord will restore health unto me.
[00:10:15] Jeremiah 30, 17.
[00:10:17] Or you'll say,
[00:10:19] God wants above all things that I prosper
[00:10:21] and be in health
[00:10:23] even as my soul prospers.
[00:10:25] 3 John 2.
[00:10:26] Or you say,
[00:10:28] the Lord's the strength of my life.
[00:10:29] Psalm 27, 1.
[00:10:31] Your words can bring health to you.
[00:10:34] The Bible says in Proverbs 12, 18,
[00:10:37] the tongue of the wise is health.
[00:10:40] So the Bible makes it very clear
[00:10:42] that Satan is the author of oppression.
[00:10:45] He's the one that will vex you with sickness.
[00:10:48] Yet we read in Acts 10, 38,
[00:10:51] how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth
[00:10:54] with the Holy Ghost and power,
[00:10:56] who went about doing good,
[00:10:58] healing all that were pressed to the devil,
[00:11:00] for God was with him.
[00:11:02] That's Acts 10, 38.
[00:11:05] Now, since Satan is the author of that disease,
[00:11:08] you can overcome him
[00:11:09] by the word of your testimony.
[00:11:12] Revelation 12, 11, still in the book.
[00:11:14] We overcome the devil
[00:11:16] by the blood of the Lamb
[00:11:17] and the word of our testimony.
[00:11:20] Now, Jesus said,
[00:11:21] they shall lay hands on the sick
[00:11:23] and they shall recover.
[00:11:24] So you declare it by God's grace.
[00:11:27] I shall recover.
[00:11:28] And you'll overcome
[00:11:30] every negative spirit.
[00:11:32] You're simply speaking God's word.
[00:11:34] I shall recover.
[00:11:36] You shall recover.
[00:11:37] So don't be defeated
[00:11:39] by saying something like,
[00:11:41] well, I'm just getting worse.
[00:11:43] Or by your words,
[00:11:45] you are giving the devil
[00:11:46] a place that he has no right to have.
[00:11:49] And the Bible says in Psalm 91, 16,
[00:11:53] that with long life will he satisfy you.
[00:11:56] God promises you long life.
[00:11:58] And if you're simply saying,
[00:12:00] well, I don't believe I'm going to live long.
[00:12:02] You can overcome that
[00:12:04] by simply saying what the Lord says
[00:12:06] and you can take your rights in Christ.
[00:12:09] Well, this is my challenge to you.
[00:12:12] Father, I pray for every listening friend
[00:12:14] that they'll rise up
[00:12:15] to begin to affirm your truth
[00:12:17] and be an overcomer.
[00:12:19] In Jesus' name, amen.
[00:12:21] Well, here's something you can say
[00:12:23] that glorifies God.
[00:12:24] He said,
[00:12:25] Whoso offers praise glorifies me.
[00:12:28] Let's glorify the Lord by praising him.
[00:12:32] And let's do it 10 joyful times.
[00:12:35] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:37] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:41] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:43] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:45] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:47] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:49] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:51] Praise the Lord.
[00:12:52] Praise the Lord. Hallelujah.
