[00:00:00] Don't Give Up, Yes, Praise the Lord, That's My Challenge to You today. And I want to share a testimony that is an example of this never-give up kind of faith. It's a little name Mrs. Coberton from Boina, Vista Oregon. She became violently ill with the atomic radiation.
[00:00:21] This condition began to have very adverse effects upon her entire body and in due time her tongue deteriorated. The line of the universe or tongue are stomach was also eaten away, and her physical condition became critical.
[00:00:37] 26 specialists in Portland, began to treat Mrs. Coberton and because of perhaps the little known treatment for atomic radiation, it was a matter of experiment with these 26 doctors.
[00:00:53] Their efforts, however, were not successful and Mrs. Coberton became exceedingly worse. One night at a crusade I was conducting in Salem, Oregon.
[00:01:04] I announced the fact that you were going to have a special stretcher night. When I would pray in Jesus' name for all those who brought to the service either on a bed, a cot or a stretcher.
[00:01:17] I had the privilege of praying for Mrs. Coberton for healing in the authority of Jesus' name. Her husband took her back home that night, and even though there was no change in her condition she didn't give up.
[00:01:33] We didn't see her again until that 10 days later, and suddenly she returned one night to our crusade to give her testimony what the Lord had done for her. Her deteriorated tongue was restored whole, the lining of her stomach was normal.
[00:01:52] She had given her the very limited diet of baby foods and liquid foods, and she stood and shared how with a abundant joy she was now eating everything praise the Lord.
[00:02:03] The 26th patients were astonished, and I must say all glory be to God for He performed the miracle.
[00:02:13] I bought a year later, Mrs. Coberton wrote me a letter, and the letter she said, Brother Gosset, the doctor said I'd be dead with this time, or else I'd be permanently bedfast.
[00:02:26] The name of Jesus changed all that. The Lord did the work a year ago, and now I'm raising 500 baby chicks this spring.
[00:02:35] And then two years later, I had another letter from this lady. She declared that she was still going strong and enjoying good health. Why?
[00:02:45] Because the Lord Jesus Christ is the greater position, the greater position. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. I recommend Jesus, you, today, my beloved friend, whatever you need. You have used suffering physical pain. I urge you to be bold and fearless in the name of Jesus, and the possibility you can meet whole. Now you may have inward turmoil.
[00:03:19] The Lord can't absolutely meet your need, so my urging you is to be bold and speaking God's word.
[00:03:27] We do this for you to inform it in your body. Resist the devil's oppressions. Have nothing to do with his power, work or sickness, disease, fear, or frustration. I say take your deliverance in Jesus name. Please don't give up.
[00:03:43] So, Father, in Jesus name, I come before you today and be half of the ministry of salvation to the nations. Lord, I bring to you right now the people of the nations where bold Bible of the nations has, and is proclaiming the good news of the gospel.
[00:04:02] I pray for the laborers of the harvest to go forth and declare your word that Jesus is Lord in these nations. I thank you for raising up intercessors to agree with us, to pray for those who have come and are coming to Christ through the impact of our crusades, our radio ministry, our outreach is by literature all over the world.
[00:04:26] I ask Father for these requests in Jesus name, amen. What is the idea to have faith in God?
[00:04:34] As I am focusing attention on the ripen harvest fields of this world, I simply want to share with you the fact that I have before me a list of 83 different nations where I have had the delight of ministry, most of them in person and groups, open their crusades
[00:04:55] and God has been so good. I am grateful for that. Well, I am glad also that is the Lord has sent me the results have been quite astonishing for His glory.
[00:05:06] I think of the fact that the islands that wisdomdies were among the nations where I have been. I have gone there again and again, and every day by radio on a station in St Vincent called Praise FM every afternoon at one thirty,
[00:05:26] I broadcast to all the grunty, islands and God is giving us fruit in that ministry. I am never going to the Georgetown St Vincent and a crusade had been organized for the spotlight stadium
[00:05:42] and again we witnessed a stadium jam packed with hundreds of people who run away even to get a seat. Those precious people walked for many miles from all directions of you with us in that crusade.
[00:05:57] Many people had charted bustles. Others had been brought there by their pastures and it was a delight to work with all these different congregations, baptists, brethren, pentacostal, church of God and many other churches, even their precious Roman Catholics
[00:06:19] and all these pastures were all very cooperative and thank God it was a great impact of our radio ministry into that part of the world and I praise the Lord indeed.
[00:06:32] Now let me share with you as I most of our meetings throughout that West Indies at that time I am talking about we are sponsored by Baptist churches.
[00:06:42] Now I have had it like to work with all kinds of churches and among them we have been Baptist churches and I can never forget that the Antioch Baptist Church in Bacitir, a little team to share a testimony she stood before the audience and said,
[00:07:01] I have been blind for many years and I want to share this testimony for the glory of God.
[00:07:09] While I was listening to your brother-guys as broadcast a couple of years before the Holy Spirit inspired me to listen carefully to your message on how to receive a healing miracle.
[00:07:21] And then when you came to the time of action you asked those in the radio audience who knew healing, the place they're hand upon their reflection.
[00:07:30] And then I was simply doing this as humblers and I know how, now place both hands upon my blind eyes.
[00:07:41] When I was, should say when I am blind eyes, when I am on the radio and you've prayed in the name of Jesus the Lord performed a miracle and the blind eyes were open.
[00:07:53] And now she would tell us how she could read the finest print. This miracle was confirmed by other people who were in that service.
[00:08:05] They had also witnessed the wonder of God's grace and power of our unchanging Lord, how do you do you?
[00:08:12] What is a lot is to have faith in God and to experience His blessings.
[00:08:17] Now I have had the opportunity of going to many of these islands again and again, and God has given us much fruit for our going with the gospel.
[00:08:29] And I can share with you continually.
[00:08:31] I remember years ago when I was a Bible student in San Francisco, one of my courses in that Bible school was entitled, going with the gospel.
[00:08:45] And that put fire in my heart that had never been extinguished.
[00:08:48] And that of course has been virtually the theme of my entire ministry, going with the gospel, going with the gospel into all parts of the world.
[00:08:59] I have most of the time I've gone in person but also now, had the opportunity as if I had these years to be on the internet on worldwide radio to send out gospel literature and God has given us so much victory and I'm praising Him for that.
[00:09:16] Now, what I've gone to some of these tropical climates, I've had to overcome tropical diseases and it however, it's a calling of God.
[00:09:28] Now, he would have been much easier to stay here at home and enjoy the comfort of choice in vermas, but the Lord can man, go and preach the gospel to every nation.
[00:09:39] And my replies like that of Isaiah, I also heard the voice of Lord saying, whom shall I send and who will go for us?
[00:09:49] Then I said, here I am, I am Lord send me.
[00:09:53] And evidently the Lord of the harvest heard the prayer of somebody somewhere who had prayed.
[00:09:58] Lord was sent me forth as a labor, just as a request was given by Jesus in Luke 6, pardon me, Luke chapter 10 verse 2.
[00:10:08] Therefore Jesus said unto them, the harvest truly is great with the laborers are few.
[00:10:15] Pray you therefore the Lord of the harvest, they would send forth laborers into his harvest and then the great commission of Roman chapter 10,
[00:10:25] how shall they call on him, whom they have not heard and how shall they believe in him, who have not probably let me strut that again.
[00:10:35] How shall they call on him, whom they have not believed and how shall they believe in him, whom they have not heard and how shall they hear without a preacher and how shall they preach except to be sent as he's written, how beautiful are the feet of them.
[00:10:50] That preached the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.
[00:10:54] I praise God, not only in the West Indies but to India all over that wonderful land, South America, Africa, Australia,
[00:11:04] the Puppon, again many parts of the world were God He sent me to have opportunity to minister.
[00:11:11] And I thought it was a call for a great door and if the fact that this openins to me and their many adversaries,
[00:11:20] I am grateful I can share these reality with you.
[00:11:23] And I, you see, I wish I could have been raised in a Christian home but since I was
[00:11:29] not, I'm very grateful I became a Christian and I think God that I've had this law
[00:11:35] this light of sharing the good news, all these lands and all these places and thank you
[00:11:41] for being your prayer partner.
