012 - Breakthrough Miracle Prayers #4 - Don Gossett

[00:00:00] Psalm 9210, David said, I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

[00:00:06] David recognized that there is no substitute for fresh oil anointing.

[00:00:12] And you asked, Well, Don Gossett, do I need to be filled with the Holy Spirit?

[00:00:16] You can be filled indeed if you refuse to let denominational dogmas and creeds bind your life.

[00:00:24] You must be filled with the Holy Spirit, a personal infilling of His divine power.

[00:00:29] You asked, Well, how can I receive it?

[00:00:32] Well, I dare not share with you any theories.

[00:00:35] I must give you the word of God.

[00:00:36] In Luke 24, Christ blesses disciples, then ascended into heaven.

[00:00:42] These people, 120 of them, return Jerusalem with great joy.

[00:00:47] Oh, what great joy!

[00:00:49] And they were a recipient of mighty workings.

[00:00:52] Their expectation faith was abounding, and they believed that they would be filled.

[00:00:57] And this expectancy, first of all, brought wonderful results.

[00:01:01] Because God has assured you and me in His Word, there is no respect for persons

[00:01:06] than you two can be filled with the Holy Spirit as thousands of others have been.

[00:01:11] But don't approach this subject with a negative defeat attitude.

[00:01:16] Brother with joyful faith, come to the Lord, expecting to receive exactly what He promised.

[00:01:22] And then by the enabling of the Holy Spirit, you'll be able to pray breakthrough miracle prayers.

[00:01:28] That's the theme of our teaching these days.

[00:01:31] Breakthrough miracle prayers.

[00:01:33] And our main result of this study is the fourth chapter of the book of Acts.

[00:01:39] And you can also read this entire chapter again and again.

[00:01:44] Enable you to overcome doubts and fears and a lack of certainty about what God will do for you.

[00:01:51] Enable you to know you have the same authority to pray breakthrough miracle prayers.

[00:01:58] And it will bring blessing to God.

[00:02:01] And so, the next great event in your life may be to be filled with the Spirit

[00:02:06] as they were back on the day of Pentecost when suddenly from heaven there came a mighty rushing wind.

[00:02:13] It's your call to Islam.

[00:02:14] They were filled with the Holy Spirit.

[00:02:17] And now, my friend, get ready to prepare your heart to let the Holy Spirit come right in filling you in abundant manner.

[00:02:24] So the actions I would suggest you take is read Luke 24, 39, 50 and 33.

[00:02:32] Read how they were filled with the Spirit.

[00:02:35] What preceded that?

[00:02:36] They were continually praising and blessing God.

[00:02:40] And you can receive this wonderful truth.

[00:02:42] Now, when you are filled with the Spirit,

[00:02:46] it will enable you to really speak the Word of God with boldness, with confidence.

[00:02:51] And a vital secret to real Bible-bible living is to walk in the Spirit.

[00:02:56] To be filled with the Spirit is not some mystical thing.

[00:02:59] It's simply God's wonderful truth through our hearts to receive His Word.

[00:03:04] So you ask what does it mean to speak the Word with boldness?

[00:03:07] It means confidence, courage, fearlessness, and the daring to do what God says you can do.

[00:03:14] It all comes, I say, from being filled with the Spirit and taking your authority.

[00:03:19] And then you can pray breakthrough, miracle prayers.

[00:03:23] Oh, hallelujah!

[00:03:24] So I want to ask you today to open your heart to the fourth chapter of Acts.

[00:03:30] Prepare your heart for the great events in your life as transpired in the lives of the early Christians.

[00:03:36] So here is my bold challenge to you today.

[00:03:39] Not only be filled with the Spirit, but then possess Heaven's right anointing in your life,

[00:03:45] the rich anointing, I should say.

[00:03:47] Be bold in speaking the Word of God.

[00:03:49] Then you'll be able to pray absolutely breakthrough, miracle prayers for the lost to be saved,

[00:03:55] for the sick to be healed, for the provision of God for your life.

[00:03:59] Yes, it will minister God's wonderful truth.

[00:04:01] So this is my encouragement to you today.

[00:04:05] Come to Lord today with joy, knowing you can also pray breakthrough, miracle prayers by a speaking name of Jesus.

[00:04:13] This is the truth I want to emphasize that you can have this fullness today of the Spirit

[00:04:19] and you can exercise the truth of Jesus' name.

[00:05:06] How? By speaking the name of Jesus against sin, sickness, demons, fears, lack.

[00:05:12] Oh, thank God. And of course this boldness that comes with that.

[00:05:16] They saw the boldness of Peter and John. They took knowledge of them that had been with Jesus.

[00:05:22] And then the early men prayed, Lord grant to us all boldness to speak your word.

[00:05:27] And the region Acts 431, they were when they were all filled with the Holy Spirit,

[00:05:33] the place where it was shaking when they were assembled together

[00:05:35] and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

[00:05:38] Praise God, carefully study these scriptures.

[00:05:41] In the fourth chapter of Acts, Acts 413, Acts 431

[00:05:46] and understand of course that Bible boldness means confidence, courage, fearlessness

[00:05:53] and a daring to do God's will.

[00:05:55] So let's simply read those verses carefully.

[00:05:58] And when I say you can have confidence even as Peter and John did,

[00:06:02] take knowledge that they had been with Jesus

[00:06:04] and however the same courage that filled their hearts is your ability to receive from God.

[00:06:12] You see, you can have the experience of walking and living with Jesus.

[00:06:17] Thank God it says when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,

[00:06:20] they saw their fearlessness, they saw their confidence, they saw their courage.

[00:06:25] They knew they had been with Jesus.

[00:06:27] So we are not ignorant men and women as we have the truth of the intellectual ability to know

[00:06:34] because of the knowing ability.

[00:06:36] It's not a cultural experience, it's a Holy Spirit experience

[00:06:40] for it's not by might nor by power but by my spirit says the Lord.

[00:06:45] So it's not that you have to be educated in schools and learning.

[00:06:49] There's primarily two keys here in this verse.

[00:06:52] They saw their boldness, they took knowledge of them that had been with Jesus.

[00:06:56] That's Acts 431.

[00:06:57] So this is the result of being filled with the Spirit and rising up and taking your authority.

[00:07:05] And let the Lord's word prevail.

[00:07:07] I love this life of bold Bible living.

[00:07:10] It's Jesus' life, it's a source of Jesus manifesting himself to administer the needs of people.

[00:07:18] Then I hope that you will take this with a whole heart.

[00:07:21] Don't just be a listener of the word but become bold as a lion.

[00:07:26] Preverse 281 declares it, the righteous are bold as a lion.

[00:07:30] And when you let Jesus be the source of your true boldness, you also can be bold as a lion.

[00:07:37] And now let me give you an opportunity right here to yield yourself to God's saying and word.

[00:07:44] I hear people say unusual words.

[00:07:47] They say, well brother Don, I know a person who is bold and very daring.

[00:07:53] Well that person may really be bold but it may be just selfish ability.

[00:07:59] This is the Bible message I share.

[00:08:02] That this natural quality of boldness is not something you inherit or something you just possess

[00:08:08] because you have developed something.

[00:08:11] That could be repulsive, that could be obnoxious.

[00:08:14] And I've seen smart people in the world that were seemingly bold and brash

[00:08:19] and they must knock it down with their boldness, is it worth?

[00:08:22] But that's not the kind of boldness that I'm sharing about.

[00:08:26] Nor is it a million miles from the boldness of the Bible.

[00:08:29] And this bold Bible living comes from Jesus.

[00:08:32] It's brought about by the working of the Holy Spirit.

[00:08:35] And they saw the boldness of Peter and John and to acknowledge them they had been with Jesus.

[00:08:41] Jesus makes us bold.

[00:08:43] He enables us to absolutely take our authority to pray those strong breakthrough,

[00:08:50] miracle prayers, hallelujah.

[00:08:53] Think of those three words.

[00:08:54] Make this a purpose of your life this time.

[00:08:57] Breakthrough, miracle prayers.

[00:09:00] Praise God the chains shall be broken.

[00:09:03] The fetters shall be unloosed.

[00:09:05] For the anointing shall destroy the yoke.

[00:09:07] So remember please, employ your time to pray breakthrough, miracle prayers

[00:09:14] as you pray for others upon your heart that are real burden to you.

[00:09:18] So here we are talking about the boldness of Peter and John.

[00:09:23] Talking about the name of Jesus.

[00:09:25] And we're talking about how to be used by God.

[00:09:29] They'll enable you to really glorify Christ that you'll be enabled to win souls.

[00:09:33] You'll be able to pray for the sick with mighty results.

[00:09:37] And I have so many wonderful testimonies that come to my attention

[00:09:40] about people who have employed this truth

[00:09:43] and the results of it have been quite remarkable.

[00:09:45] The main thing is the word of God is the same word for you.

[00:09:50] Now as I come to this truth today of bold Bible living,

[00:09:55] I want you to prepare your heart to receive from the Lord.

[00:09:59] Let me give you just a brief testimony.

[00:10:01] I think I have it before me today.

[00:10:03] The testimony of a lady who likewise employed this bold faith.

[00:10:08] We hear it is.

[00:10:09] I simply taught this woman,

[00:10:11] I said the bold your faith, the gril you'll be anointing.

[00:10:15] The bold faith is simply Bible faith.

[00:10:18] And here was this lady.

[00:10:20] She lives about 300 miles from here where I am.

[00:10:23] And this is the kind of bold faith I'm talking about.

[00:10:26] This lady was suddenly taken violently ill

[00:10:30] with what was pronounced atomic radiation.

[00:10:34] This atomic radiation began to have a very adverse effects upon her body.

[00:10:39] In time, part of her tongue was deteriorated.

[00:10:43] The lining of her stomach was eaten away

[00:10:45] and her whole physical condition became critical.

[00:10:49] 26 specialists in Portland, Oregon began to treat her

[00:10:53] and because of the little known treatment for atomic radiation,

[00:10:57] it was a matter of sincere experiment

[00:10:59] with these, on the part of these 26 specialists.

[00:11:03] Further treatments were not successful

[00:11:05] and this lady became exceedingly worse.

[00:11:07] And then it was that she came to a crusade I had in Salem, Oregon

[00:11:12] and they brought her that one night to this very special stretcher night service

[00:11:17] when she had to come on a stretcher to be able to be in the service.

[00:11:22] And when I had the opportunity to pray for all these bed-bredden cases,

[00:11:27] this lady was prayed for by the name of Jesus

[00:11:31] and later she was taken back to her home by her husband.

[00:11:35] Now I didn't see her again in that crusade for about the next 10 days

[00:11:39] but suddenly she returned to give an account

[00:11:42] as to what the Lord had done, how, thank God, the Lord had restored her tongue hole,

[00:11:47] had made the lining of her stomach normal

[00:11:49] and where she had been very limited diet of baby food and liquid foods.

[00:11:55] Now she was eating anything and everything

[00:11:57] and those 26 specialists in Portland were astonished.

[00:12:01] Yes, the Lord performed the miracle.

[00:12:03] The name of Jesus was the ability

[00:12:06] and what I'm delighted is to pray breakthrough miracle prayers.

[00:12:10] Father, grant to each listening friend

[00:12:12] who needs to be the recipient of my bold prayer.

[00:12:17] My Lord, breakthrough prayer today.
