[00:01:14] Now, I want to assure you that there are many names which we can speak and thank. But if you're going to pray Breakthrough Miracle Prayers, you must know the name of Jesus is above all.
[00:01:27] Above all negative circumstances. Above financial lack. Above home strife. Above other things. And it's all in the name of Jesus that we do what we do.

[00:01:51] I have in my office a picture of a happy, smiling woman here in Canada who was standing with her husband, rejoicing in a great miracle that he had done for her.

[00:02:51] And they said they realized they'd been stripped of their power had they rendered almost uselessness if they'd have obeyed the authorities.
[00:03:01] So they went back to the other Christians, recorded in Acts 4.29.
[00:03:06] And they told them what had happened and how the entire company of Christians then all lifted up their voices.
[00:03:13] It says they all lifted their voices.
[00:03:15] That means you and I can lift up our voices.
[00:03:18] And they prayed.
[00:03:19] They prayed Breakthrough Miracle Prayers.
[00:03:23] And they reached the climax of that prayer here in Acts 4.29.
[00:03:27] They said, Lord, grant to your servants that with all boldness we may speak your word by stretching forth your hand to heal,

[00:05:36] Thank God you can convince the infirm one there in your home that the name of Jesus is greater than their sickness.
[00:05:44] There is a sickness, maybe cancer, diabetes, heart trouble, arthritis, or whatever.
[00:05:50] But thank God you have the truth.
[00:05:52] At Philippians 2.9, where God has highly exalted Jesus and given him the name of every name.
[00:05:59] In John 14.13, if you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.
[00:06:04] Acts 3.6, they simply spoke in Jesus' name.
[00:06:08] Such as I have give I thee in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, rise up and walk.
[00:06:14] And he said in his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know.

[00:07:46] And so the least of the statements of the book of Acts chapter 4 is verse 8 and verse 31 are two of the most profound.
[00:07:56] Where the emphasis is upon the fullness of the Spirit.
[00:07:59] Friends, I believe in the Spirit-filled life.
[00:08:02] I believe it's important for us today.
[00:08:05] So read here in the book of Acts chapter 4 about how Peter declared by the authority of the Lord, the Holy Spirit,
[00:08:15] that the miracles of healing at the gate beautiful was done.
[00:08:18] And the record says, quote,
[00:08:20] Peter filled with the Holy Spirit.
[00:08:23] After the threatenings came and the disciples all prayed together,
[00:08:27] we read the results of that prayer in a wonderful truth.
[00:08:30] It says,
[00:08:31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together.
[00:08:35] And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit.
[00:08:37] And they began to speak the Word of God with boldness.
[00:08:41] Hallelujah.
[00:08:42] All the same experience that came to these people back on the day of Pentecost,
[00:08:47] when they were initially filled.
[00:08:49] So it became a refilling.
[00:08:50] And that's what God wants you to do.
[00:08:52] He wants you to have a refilling of the Spirit.
[00:08:55] It's a clear evidence that Jesus, folks,
[00:08:58] that's you and me,
[00:08:59] we can be used by God as we are filled by the Holy Spirit.
[00:09:04] So I ask you this pointed question.
[00:09:07] Have you been filled with the Spirit?
[00:09:09] Or let me ask you a second question.
[00:09:11] Are you still being saturated with the Holy Spirit?
[00:09:15] Friend, if you've never received this fullness, then you should do so.
[00:09:19] And I want to go on record here in declaring,
[00:09:23] I believe every one of you, as my brothers and sisters in God's family,
[00:09:27] should be filled with the Holy Spirit.
[00:09:30] Yes, you, my brother, my sister.
[00:09:32] You can be filled with the Holy Spirit.
[00:09:34] In fact, every believer should be filled and keep filled with the Spirit.
[00:09:38] Ephesians 5.18 says,
[00:09:40] Be not drunk with wine wherein in excess,
[00:09:42] but be filled with the Spirit,
[00:09:44] speaking yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
[00:09:48] singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.
[00:09:52] You ask, but, Brother Don,
[00:09:53] should I be really filled with the Spirit like there were back in the Bible days?
[00:09:57] Well, we read in Luke 24.49,
[00:10:00] Jesus gave the command,
[00:10:01] said,
[00:10:02] Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high.
[00:10:06] And in Acts 1.80, he said,
[00:10:08] You shall receive power.
[00:10:09] After that, the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
[00:10:12] Oh, hear me.
[00:10:13] You and I need this enduement of power from on high.
[00:10:17] There is no substitute for being full of the Holy Spirit.
[00:10:20] So make it your quest.
[00:10:22] You can.
[00:10:23] Yes, you can be filled.
[00:10:24] Acts 2.38 declares the promises unto you,
[00:10:28] to your children, to them that are far off,
[00:10:30] even as many as the Lord our God should call.
[00:10:33] And then you'll be an effective witness for Christ.
[00:10:36] When you're filled with the Holy Spirit,
[00:10:38] there's only one thing to do,
[00:10:39] and that's just to submit your intellect,
[00:10:42] your logic, your reasoning faculties,
[00:10:44] and let the Lord be the master of your life.
[00:10:48] You can be an endued,
[00:10:50] E-N-D-U-E-D,
[00:10:52] endued person.
[00:10:53] You can be enabled to witness with anointed heart and lips.
[00:10:57] That glad message.
[00:10:59] No wonder I can say to you, beloved,
[00:11:01] that you can pray breakthrough miracle prayers
[00:11:04] because you have the Holy Spirit enabling you,
[00:11:07] and you have the name of Jesus.
[00:11:09] And now, the greatest purpose of being filled with the Spirit
[00:11:12] is to make you an effective witness for Christ.

[00:11:20] You need to be filled with the Spirit
[00:11:22] that you might possess the anointing
[00:11:23] that comes to those who are filled with the Spirit.
[00:11:27] Oh, the greatness of this anointing.
[00:11:29] And thank God Jesus still fills us today.
[00:11:32] He still anoints our lives today.
[00:11:35] And this anointing, the Bible says,
[00:11:36] should break the yoke.
[00:11:38] This anointing, thank God,
[00:11:40] should give great deliverance.
[00:11:41] So I'm talking about the anointing today.
[00:11:44] It's set forth in the fourth chapter of the book of Acts.
[00:11:47] In our lives, in our hearts,
[00:11:49] we desire this fullness of the Spirit,
[00:11:52] and God wants to give it to you,
[00:11:54] wants to minister to you.
[00:11:55] It's a precious truth.
[00:11:56] And the Holy Spirit who lives in you
[00:11:58] will glow in you,
[00:11:59] and you will possess an anointing
[00:12:01] that will be yours as well as mine.
[00:12:04] For praise God,
[00:12:05] this is the truth that will enable you
[00:12:07] to be one who prays what you pray.
[00:12:12] You pray breakthrough miracle prayers.
