"that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10.

Believe and Speak God's Word! You must always believe God's Word, and then speak God's Word to activate it. "And in keeping with what is written: “I believed, therefore I have spoken,” we who have the same spirit of faith also believe and therefore speak," 2 Corinthians 4:13.

[00:00:00] I want to share this wonderful truth with you. I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear thereof and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me and let's exalt his name together.

[00:00:18] As I speak about these 43 words that can change your life, you ask, well, what are those 43 words? Romans chapter 10 verses 9 and 10.

[00:00:29] That if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[00:00:45] Those 43 words can absolutely change your life. That's the foundation for our walk with the Lord is understanding this truth.

[00:00:55] So let me just share with you further on this wonderful truth of the importance of your confession. Notice salvation, the greatest of all of God's gift, is dependent upon your believing in your heart.

[00:01:07] That God raised Jesus from the dead.

[00:01:10] And that you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord.

[00:01:14] And this is a truth that I have emphasized for years, that what I confess I possess.

[00:01:19] I love to confess Jesus is my Lord.

[00:01:23] And by his grace I possess salvation.

[00:01:26] Many times I've made the confession that by his stripes I'm healed.

[00:01:30] And I possess healing from many different infirmities.

[00:01:34] And you can receive the same benefit.

[00:01:36] I have confessed the Son has made me free.

[00:01:40] And I have possessed absolute freedom from fear, from oppression, from lack.

[00:01:46] And I praise God for this confession.

[00:01:49] The Son has made me free.

[00:01:51] And then I confess the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit.

[00:01:55] And I possess the ability to love everyone.

[00:01:59] This truth has helped me through many challenges.

[00:02:02] When I've had people problems.

[00:02:05] People whom I could have easily had bitterness, resentment, malice, ill will.

[00:02:10] But by the grace of God, I have made this good confession.

[00:02:14] The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit.

[00:02:18] And that gives me the ability to love everyone.

[00:02:21] Friends, enemies, whoever they may be.

[00:02:24] And you can have the same importation.

[00:02:27] For this is Romans 5.5.

[00:02:28] That God's love is shed abroad in your heart and my heart today.

[00:02:33] And of course the foundation of my ministry many years ago.

[00:02:37] That I confess the righteous are bold as a lion.

[00:02:41] And I possess lion-hearted boldness and spiritual warfare.

[00:02:45] I have told you the background of how this truth became very real to me.

[00:02:50] I was working with T.L. Osborne in Tulsa as editor of his magazine.

[00:02:55] And Brother Osborne asked me to join with him in providing material for his book,

[00:03:00] Three Keys, the Book of Acts.

[00:03:02] Those three keys were the name of Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God.

[00:03:06] As I studied the book of Acts at that time,

[00:03:09] It began to unfold to me that there are many scriptures about the life of boldness.

[00:03:15] For instance, when they saw the boldness of Peter and John,

[00:03:18] And perceived that they were ignorant and unlearned men,

[00:03:22] They took knowledge of them they had been with Jesus.

[00:03:25] Notice they saw their boldness.

[00:03:27] And when the Christians met together after being threatened,

[00:03:30] They prayed this prayer in Acts 4.29,

[00:03:33] And now Lord, behold their threatenings and grant to your servants,

[00:03:37] That with all boldness we may speak thy word,

[00:03:41] By stretching forth thine hand to heal,

[00:03:43] And that signs and wonders may be done by the name of Jesus.

[00:03:47] Did God answer that prayer?

[00:03:49] Well, verse 31, the next connecting verse says,

[00:03:52] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together,

[00:03:56] And they began to speak the word of God boldly.

[00:04:00] Listen, God wants you to speak the word boldly.

[00:04:03] That word boldly means with confidence, with fearlessness,

[00:04:06] With a sense of courage even, a daring to affirm what God has said.

[00:04:12] And I love to confess this one.

[00:04:14] I confess he will never leave me nor forsake me.

[00:04:18] That's Hebrews 13, 5 and 6.

[00:04:21] And because we are assured of this, we can make this confession,

[00:04:25] I possess the presence of God each step I take.

[00:04:28] And this can be your testimony.

[00:04:30] As I'm here in the studio,

[00:04:32] I'm aware that I possess the presence of God,

[00:04:35] Because I've been speaking his truth.

[00:04:38] He will never leave me nor forsake me.

[00:04:40] And I'm so glad this is the truth for you today.

[00:04:43] And then notice it says in Psalm 107, 2,

[00:04:46] Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.

[00:04:49] Notice you say so.

[00:04:51] Confession is say so.

[00:04:53] And this is so important.

[00:04:56] So you can make it your confession.

[00:04:58] I'm redeemed of the Lord, the redeemed of the Lord.

[00:05:02] And thereby I possess, possess redemption benefits every day.

[00:05:06] Thank God for this remarkable truth through our hearts and lives.

[00:05:10] And then I confess the anointing of the Holy One abides within me.

[00:05:14] 1 John 2, 27.

[00:05:16] Because of this valuable anointing,

[00:05:19] I possess yoke destroying results by the power of the Holy Spirit.

[00:05:24] And then I come to this truth.

[00:05:26] I confess in the name of Jesus, I can cast out devils.

[00:05:30] I know there's a real live devil, an adversary, our thief,

[00:05:35] the one of whom we're not ignorant of his devices.

[00:05:37] And we can cope with his attacks by speaking the name of Jesus.

[00:05:42] The master said it.

[00:05:44] These signs shall follow them that believe in my name,

[00:05:47] shall they cast out devils.

[00:05:48] So I say, be fearless in speaking this truth today.

[00:05:52] And then, of course, there are many of you who need to apply this one today.

[00:05:57] Mark 16, 18, where Jesus said,

[00:06:00] Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

[00:06:03] This is a truth that has motivated my life thousands of times.

[00:06:08] To lay my hands on the sick that they may recover.

[00:06:11] Now, I'm not the healer.

[00:06:12] I'm not the one that causes them to recover.

[00:06:15] I'm simply in obedience to the Lord's word.

[00:06:18] I can lay my hands on the sick.

[00:06:20] And so can you.

[00:06:22] You can do that.

[00:06:23] And you can lay your hands on the sick ones.

[00:06:26] And the master himself, who cannot lie, says you will possess positive healing for the oppressed.

[00:06:33] So take this at heart and put it into action.

[00:06:36] And then I confess, John 15, 5,

[00:06:40] I am a branch of the living vine.

[00:06:42] This enables me to possess vine life wherever I go.

[00:06:46] Because what I confess, I possess.

[00:06:49] And then I confess, I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

[00:06:54] What does it mean to be made righteous?

[00:06:57] It means that you stand in God's presence without any guilt or condemnation.

[00:07:02] But it also means you stand in Satan's presence as an overcomer, as a victor.

[00:07:07] Why?

[00:07:08] Because God has made us righteous with his own righteousness.

[00:07:12] Him who knew no sin, God may come sin for us.

[00:07:15] We might be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

[00:07:19] I confess, I am a temple of the living God.

[00:07:23] 2 Corinthians 6, 16.

[00:07:25] And because of this truth, I possess God dwelling in me and walking in me.

[00:07:29] And friend, he said that you are a temple of the living God.

[00:07:34] God dwells in you.

[00:07:35] And he is the one who has given this truth to your heart.

[00:07:39] So aware of the fact that you are a temple of the Lord.

[00:07:42] And one more confession I want to make right here.

[00:07:45] I confess, my God, my God shall supply all my need.

[00:07:50] According to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

[00:07:53] This marvelous truth is ours today to act upon and live by.

[00:07:58] So also I want to just balance the other side of this.

[00:08:01] Not only do I confess what I possess, but my confession precedes my possession.

[00:08:08] For instance, I confess, for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

[00:08:14] Romans 10, 13.

[00:08:15] And thereby I possess no soul salvation.

[00:08:19] For I have called upon the name of the Lord.

[00:08:21] Hallelujah.

[00:08:22] And I confess, the Lord shall preserve me from all evil.

[00:08:26] Psalm 121, 7.

[00:08:28] You then preserve his truth.

[00:08:32] He preserves you.

[00:08:33] And you possess his preservation from all forms of evil.

[00:08:37] This is God's own word.

[00:08:38] And we live by that.

[00:08:40] And Jesus said, blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

[00:08:44] Matthew 5, 8.

[00:08:45] And because you have this assurance, you shall see God.

[00:08:49] Why?

[00:08:50] For the blood of Jesus has made you pure in heart.

[00:08:53] Pure in your life.

[00:08:54] Pure in your thoughts, your words, your actions.

[00:08:56] And then we confess this truth.

[00:08:59] Psalm 29, 11.

[00:09:01] The Lord will give strength unto his people.

[00:09:03] The Lord will bless his people with peace.

[00:09:05] Because you make this good confession, you possess daily strength and abundance of peace.

[00:09:11] And then you confess Psalm 68, 19.

[00:09:15] Blessed be the Lord who daily loadeth us with benefits.

[00:09:18] Thank God for the benefits of the Lord.

[00:09:21] I would suggest you may have a benefit box in your home.

[00:09:25] Where you simply drop in that box memories of God's benefits to your life.

[00:09:30] And David proclaimed that in Psalm 103.

[00:09:34] Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that's within me.

[00:09:37] Bless his holy name.

[00:09:38] Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all its benefits.

[00:09:42] Who forgiveth all thine iniquities?

[00:09:44] Who healeth all thy diseases?

[00:09:47] Who redeemeth thy life from destruction?

[00:09:49] Who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies?

[00:09:52] Who satisfies thy mouth with good things, so that youth is renewed like the eagles?

[00:09:58] Because you make this confession, you then will possess a life daily loaded with the benefits of the Lord.

[00:10:04] And Jesus said, I am the light of the world.

[00:10:08] He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

[00:10:12] That means because you're following Jesus, you possess light upon life's pathway.

[00:10:18] And then you confess, Luke 1, 37.

[00:10:23] For with God nothing should be impossible, and thereby you possess impossibilities becoming realities.

[00:10:30] For you're linked up with God by divine birth.

[00:10:33] And thank God, one more thing I want to emphasize today.

[00:10:36] As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

[00:10:42] Psalm 103, verse 12.

[00:10:44] When you make this confession, you'll possess assurance that your sins are removed far from you.

[00:10:51] Praise the Lord.

[00:10:53] Now I am sharing today on 43 words that can change your life.

[00:10:58] Evangelist Billy Graham said long ago that the two most important verses in the Bible is Romans 10, 9 and 10.

[00:11:06] Amen.

[00:11:07] That if you'll confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

[00:11:15] For with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

[00:11:21] Father, I pray that every person will rise up to this good confession, confessing you as Lord, confessing you as the righteousness of God.

[00:11:30] In Jesus name, I thank you, Lord. Amen.

[00:11:34] This is Don Gossett.

[00:11:36] Let me ask you to be my partner in evangelism.

[00:11:39] I would invite you to share the gift God lays upon your heart.

[00:11:43] And now join me as you and I lift our voices and our hearts.

[00:11:47] And let's say praise the Lord.

[00:11:49] And say it 10 times.

[00:11:51] Praise the Lord.

[00:11:53] Praise the Lord.

[00:11:55] Praise the Lord.

[00:12:10] Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!
