[00:01:02] Robert Woeger, Robert, such a pleasure to have you today.

[00:01:05] How are you?

[00:01:06] I'm great Dallas and I'm glad to be here on your podcast.

[00:01:10] We're going to be discussing a lot about your story.

[00:01:14] What God's been doing in your life.

[00:01:15] And from what you've explained already, he's used you to...

[00:01:20] He's used you through the internet to reach a lot of different people.

[00:01:25] To do a lot of different cool things.

[00:01:26] And so we're going to dive into those things.

[00:01:28] And I want to encourage the audience.

[00:01:29] You were also an author.

[00:01:31] We're going to be talking about that at the end of our episode.

[00:01:33] So stay tuned, so you can connect with Robert and to look at that book itself.

[00:01:37] So I'm just going to give you the full Robert.

[00:01:39] Just tell us who you are, what the Lord's been doing in your life because it sounds like it's been a lot.

[00:01:43] It has been...

[00:01:46] I'm just glad to be doing this interview because it's been a long time coming.

[00:01:51] And you're the first person that God has put on my heart to do an interview about my life, my ministry, my testimony.

[00:01:59] And the reason I'm doing this also is I want my grandchildren and future generations to know my life stories and my testimony about God.

[00:02:08] Plus some of the things God has taught me through the years.

[00:02:12] I'm also a photographer.

[00:02:14] I don't know if you know that.

[00:02:16] And I distribute millions of my photos on many of the popular file sharing photosites like unsplash, Pixabay, Pixels.

[00:02:27] And I just love to bless people showing them God's creation whether it be through my books, words, podcasts that I have or through the pictures.

[00:02:38] Because the heavens declare the glory of God and you know people are touched when they see God's creation.

[00:02:47] You know, and when they see nature scenes or animals, it just puts them in the right place then they can know that there is a God.

[00:02:57] Because in this world we are so lacking for hope.

[00:03:01] We are so distracted by the enemy. He is just tries to steal pill and destroy and remember that Jesus came to give us life and give it more abundantly.

[00:03:12] So I want to share that hope of Christ with the world through whatever I do.

[00:03:18] I just want to be a willing, yielded vessel that glorifies God.

[00:03:23] And I've been doing internet evangelism using the internet for evangelism since 1995.

[00:03:32] I was one of the early ones, the only handful of us probably under five that when the internet started went public that used it for Christian distributing Christian materials on the internet.

[00:03:46] I worked with a large Christian search engine back then it was called Goshen.net.

[00:03:52] I don't know if you are all not going to hurt Goshen, GOS, HEM.net.

[00:03:57] I don't even know if it's still around but it was the mega Google search engine for Christian materials finding them on the internet.

[00:04:04] And they had a large what was called an FTP archive, file transfer protocol.

[00:04:10] And that's where we used to in the 90s upload things through FTP and I had a lot of Christian shareware.

[00:04:19] I published Christian CD Realms with Bridgestone Moldo Media with a lot of other Christian publishers.

[00:04:25] And just my heart has been to give away Christian software, Christian books.

[00:04:33] I'm also a Christian archivist so I've archived a lot of the Christian works.

[00:04:41] The books such as books by Andrew Murray and many other Christian authors over the year and put them out into the public domain so that they could be a blessing.

[00:04:50] Basically, God put all my heart to share and make sure nothing got lost for future generations.

[00:04:59] So I've been doing that for several ministries even today where people have passed on and they were ministry for 60 or 70 years then their errors came to me and said we've got these old cassette tapes, real-the-real tapes.

[00:05:16] We've got all this material, these old books and can you do something to preserve the legacy of our ministry?

[00:05:24] You know if it was their husband or their father or mother.

[00:05:28] And that's what I've been doing for many Christian ministries helping them with search engine optimization, social media, digital media,

[00:05:38] and giving them a voice and preserving those things so that they would never get lost and they'd continue on.

[00:05:44] So my desire and the way God got a hold of me, I wasn't born in a Christian home.

[00:05:52] My parents weren't Christians, I was not raised around anything to do with church or Jesus.

[00:05:59] So I lived my life in the world but I'm 59 now, I'll be 60 soon and I just when I came to the Lord it was 1987.

[00:06:12] And it was a major, a major upheaval in my life I was running from God.

[00:06:22] It was an experience and basically what I said, I was in trouble with the law I was running from God and I had nowhere to turn.

[00:06:33] And I cried out and I said, I put up one of those Hail Mary prayers and I said, God if you're real, show me.

[00:06:42] And he is so faithful. Everyone I know that prayed that kind of prayer and I hope anyone that's going anything through anything and even listeners.

[00:06:51] If they're not sure about God, if they've got questions, you know, if they're atheist or they've been disillusioned or they believe God let them down or whatever.

[00:07:02] Just pray a prayer, God if you're real, show me. Then it will start a chain of events in your life where you can't but you can't deny. You can't but know that God is real.

[00:07:15] So once I knew that God was real and he did a major transfer, I don't have time to go into my whole testimony, but he reached down into that my replay picked me up and put me on solid ground.

[00:07:29] And once I knew he was real and he did supernatural miracles on my behalf, not because of who I was but because of who Christ was and what he did for all of us.

[00:07:43] And because I had faith in Christ and I said, God, I want to trust you. I want to believe you help me and that simple childlike faith prayer is what began the whole bowl everything emotion.

[00:07:57] He took me from 1987 and then 1990 I worked for focus on the family around their computers when they moved to Colorado Springs and I've worked for several ministries over the many ministries over the years.

[00:08:13] And God has just taught me line up online, precept upon preset and I so loved God with all my heart because he what he did for me.

[00:08:24] Because I tried to kill myself and commit, I tried to commit suicide when I was 13 years old.

[00:08:35] I drank, I drank crystal, drain out, you know, the drain cleaner. They had a pump my stomach and everything they said I should have been on a colostomy bag for the rest of my life. God supernaturally preserved my life. I never, never had any side effects from that.

[00:08:53] And God has taken me from glory to glory and he has shown himself faithful and no matter what I've been through, then he took me through a period from the mid 90s actually around 97 for a 20 year period where I felt a call to be what's called a spiritual unique.

[00:09:19] You know that the Bible talks about unix and there's several different ways you could become a unique but this was a spiritual unique.

[00:09:28] And it was a consecration to God and basically God put it on, it's not for everyone. I'm not, you know, but this was my life story and I got to a place in my life. I had gone through a divorce.

[00:09:42] My wife left me for a woman and so, you know, it just, it was a major, or shattering thing in my life. And what God did is he picked me up. I was sobbing crying and God said,

[00:10:03] If you will serve me the type of ministry that God had for me required a consecration like this where I would just serve him day and night and sip before him.

[00:10:16] And he also said, you cannot marry again, you know, are you willing? Now God will never force that kind of vial on someone. I really believe that.

[00:10:26] But he gave me the option. He gave me his perfect will, his permissible will. Yes.

[00:10:31] I could have chosen, but I said, God, I want you, I'm totally sold out to you. I want your perfect will. Not your permissible will. I could have married again. It was his permissible will. He would have given me a wonderful wife, the white pick of fans and children, which I never had children.

[00:10:49] But I chose to dedicate my life to him and spent from like 97, 98 through 2018. And then what happened?

[00:11:04] I spent day and night. I didn't really work too much. I just, I live by faith. Those 20 years now tell me, God's got to be in it for you to live 20 years by faith with no provision except from God.

[00:11:20] He's because he called, then he supernaturally provided. I'm not saying everyone needs to do this, but it was a specific call to live this way. And I did and I did the archives for all these ministries.

[00:11:34] I, during that 20 year period, I preserved their legacy. I sewed so many seeds out through the internet as an evangelist, publishing Christian materials books, media, what have you?

[00:11:49] And then God, this first book which you'll show coming up at the end. It's called The God Book. I give it away free of charge on Amazon Kindle in digital format around the world.

[00:12:03] And I've been sewing the seed of that book. Those are the first series of lessons God taught me that came out around 2015.

[00:12:15] And I don't know how many tens of thousands of copies or who knows how many because I don't keep track of that book's gone around the world. But my whole purpose in life is to bless others, because the devil tried to take me out. It was like he threw everything at me, including the kitchen sink.

[00:12:35] You know, he put the refrigerator on top of me. I was like at the bottom of the pile. He had loaded up with everything. And the devil got his first whack at me and tried to take me out so many times. But God.

[00:12:51] Because I trusted God. I trusted in Jesus and God preserved my life. I mean, I could tell you stories we don't have time of all the demonic attacks that came against me and the people that have come against me in life.

[00:13:07] But the victory we have through God's word is what I try to capture in my writings, my books, my podcasts, everything.

[00:13:17] And I want, oh, the mandate God spoke to me audibly. I used to have a cruise ship ministry now that's another.

[00:13:27] I spent several years, pretty much full time just on the seas traveling from cruise ship to cruise ship and basically I'm a prophetic evangelist. So he would send me somewhere just to give a word prophetic word to someone.

[00:13:47] And I said, God, don't you have someone closer than halfway around the world on a cruise ship somewhere.

[00:13:54] And you know, a lot of the he then people they like to go to casinos, they like to go to cruise ships and wherever God would send me. I felt like a firefighter for God.

[00:14:05] I would always be ready and say, where are we going today? And then he would provide the provision. The one time he had me go, I've been to Israel twice, but one time he just at the last minute said, I need you to go to Israel something's getting ready to happen there just trust me within a week. I was in Israel. He had me declaring things to cream things and stand in prayer standing against attacks that were getting ready to happen in Israel.

[00:14:33] That's when the go-long heights. This was like in around 2005 or so right when Hurricane Katrina was happening right after that period just a few months after that I think it was.

[00:14:46] That's when all the West Bank stuff got opened and there was major turmoil and they were taking prisoners. We went into an Israeli IDF military camp of young people and we blessed them and took them you know clothing and things.

[00:15:04] And no tours get to go in to a military camp on the go-long height.

[00:15:10] That's the West Bank we looked over Syria and everything and we got to share hope with them.

[00:15:18] I could tell you story after story but I know that we need to just get the people to focus on the love of God and having faith in God. No matter what you've been through it's not so much about my story.

[00:15:31] Let me tell you the good news at the end. After 20 years of just being the spiritual unit and hungry and thirst after God and publishing things on the internet.

[00:15:43] God, all of a sudden even though I made a vow to never marry ever again God lifted that vow off me. I didn't ask for it to be lifted but then he gave me a wife and it's just a supernatural story so in 2018 I married my wife and he blessed me with three children and now three grandchildren.

[00:16:03] So God can do no matter what you're going through. God can do it. If you put him first nothing is impossible with God. If you have faith and trusting God and that's what these books are. That's the message I'm trying to get with the world.

[00:17:32] In 97, I had a dream or vision. I can't tell you which but I know in this dream or vision an angel took me by the hand and took me down into hell.

[00:17:43] And I had a revelation of hell and it wasn't the flames and the pitch forks and that kind of torment.

[00:17:51] I'm not saying that's not there. I believe it is.

[00:17:54] But the revelation that God wanted me to see because I was an evangelist. I ran the salvation.com website and Bible.net website and I'm getting all these.

[00:18:06] I'm just a thousand to hits you know, because people were searching for information about salvation and about the Bible.

[00:18:12] And he wanted my heart to be so focused on the lost.

[00:18:18] He, I wasn't going to hell because I was a bad person. This wasn't about me being punished. It was about me having empathy and compassion for all those that were in hell.

[00:18:30] And I just saw what looked like rows and rows as far as you could see of these bookshelves.

[00:18:37] And on each bookshelf was souls and it was the essence of a soul like a square. They were like in a compartment.

[00:18:47] And all the main thing I want to share with your audience is hell is eternal separation from God.

[00:18:55] And the loneliness that these people that are in hell because they still feel things. They still can think they still can ponder things and they have regrets for eternity that they never turned to God to father God through Jesus Christ.

[00:19:13] And they, their life just gets to get keeps replaying before them. And the loneliness, the eternal separation I can't describe how I felt because I could feel what they were feeling.

[00:19:29] I'm not saying there wasn't fire and the demons and pitchforks weren't tormenting them eternally. I'm sure they were.

[00:19:36] But the biggest torment that was shown to me was the eternal separation and loneliness from God.

[00:19:44] And so that started that 20 year period of me turning my life over to God. I didn't want to leave that out because too many people today just want to talk about prosperity and blessings

[00:19:57] and you know, your best life now and whatever. And you know, I can be a motivational speaker and try to motivate people.

[00:20:08] But I want to tell be a true teller. I want to say that God is real. He loves you. He sent a son Jesus Christ on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins with his precious blood.

[00:20:21] And God wants to spend eternity with you in heaven. And all you need to do is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, our pen of your sins. It's very simple.

[00:20:34] But one thing that I've learned is that God wants us to maintain our faith.

[00:20:40] It's not just about a one-time profession of faith. That's the beginning, but we need to have a lifestyle of faith because Amos 3-3 says,

[00:20:52] How can two walk together except they be agreed? And God wants us to walk with Him in relationship with Him.

[00:21:00] And anytime we break that, we we sin because we come out of faith. We waver in our faith as James talks about you know?

[00:21:14] So we shouldn't expect to receive anything of the Lord. And God just wants us to be his children to love and to draw close to Him.

[00:21:25] And I think the biggest thing that I've seen over the years, I used to, I've studied Christianity and the move is different moves and healing moves and everything.

[00:21:37] The biggest thing I've seen since television came in in the early 1950s, they used to have big tent revivals. People really had faith.

[00:21:46] I believe when all the distractions of televisions and movies came in, that really shifted things and has really put a wedge between people having full confidence and faith in God.

[00:21:57] I'm not judging the movies or the television shows, but I'm saying you can, you know it's just like when you say when they took prayer out of school, it was a marker.

[00:22:07] Well that was a marker because before that people spent time in their local communities with their friends playing outdoors and eating at home with their parents, it's been a big shift.

[00:22:22] So the main thing is we need to return back to our first love who is Christ. He's just waiting for us to all who would have faith and believe in Him.

[00:22:33] And that's what my books are about, my podcasts so forth. Go ahead, it's not about me, it's all about lifting up Jesus.

[00:22:42] I love your story because I preach this too that if you have a true encounter with the Lord in the creator of Heaven Earth, touches your life and you don't want to tell other people about it,

[00:22:55] I got a question in the depth of that encounter just like you experienced.

[00:22:58] The empathy of seeing those souls and hell and that eternal separation from God when you understand that your heart for evangelism should light up and you should want to tell people about Jesus.

[00:23:11] I mean, I also say this, I was a missionary in foreign soil for about five years, but the call of the Great Commission is not just for the pastor, the missionary, the deacon, it's the believer in Jesus.

[00:23:21] If you follow the Lord, if you are a son or a daughter of God, adopt it into that. You have a mission, you have a call of responsibility, you have been given the keys to the kingdom and you will be judged for having that key.

[00:23:37] If you don't open the door for other people, you're going to have to answer that. I think a lot of people stay in that comfort of I'm saved, Hallelujah, the angel celebrated but I'm not going to tell people because it's uncomfortable.

[00:23:49] We need to push past that, especially in our dark age today where everything is getting darker and worse and what is wrong, right is wrong and what is wrong is right everything is twisted we need the kingdom of Heaven to come on earth.

[00:24:01] We need that and we need people like you Robert, we need people out there evangelizing telling people what it is.

[00:24:08] Well, Dallas, I'm getting near the end of my life, I mean, I'll be 60 soon, that's not the end but I want to train up people, your age and younger.

[00:24:18] I want to impart things that I've learned during that 20 years with God and also other times.

[00:24:26] I've been blessed to be under many, many powerful men and women of God who have imparted things into my life.

[00:24:33] I don't have time to tell you all the testimonies but I have sat under their teachings, met them personally, many of them

[00:24:41] and the ones that I archived that already had passed on. I got to spend years going through all their material listening to their programs and bringing it back to life, hearing their faith, hearing and many of them, everyone is human

[00:24:57] and many, many ministers have had fallen, have had issues but the main thing is look at the heart of the person when they were on fire for God.

[00:25:13] Sometimes people get their eyes off of God at times but the main thing is if they were gifted and called by God to do a purpose and they did it.

[00:25:27] Don't throw the baby out with the bath water, honor them for what they did for the Lord and there are too many ministries around today that are trying to discredit other ministries.

[00:25:39] We need to pray for one another. Now I'm not talking about serious issues, I'm just talking about other things.

[00:25:52] So, love the Lord with all your heart and soul and love your neighbors yourself. That's what Jesus said. All the commandments were wrapped up in those two things.

[00:26:03] I just feel that people watching this need to have hope when I was on a cruise ship, I started talking about cruise ships. I spent years on cruise ships and in 2007 I was on my way from San Diego to Hawaii on a cruise ship on the way to Hawaii or back I'm not sure but on that trip in the middle of the ocean.

[00:26:28] The devil is trying to flip over cruise ships several times I was on. To help them totally to wipe me out.

[00:26:36] Where everything breaks and cracks, you know, all the dishes break on the cruise ship and you know think you're going under.

[00:26:43] You know, same thing happened to Paul. He was shipwrecked things happened you know in this world we will have a tribulation but we need to have faith and all but what God gave me a mandate and he spoke audibly to me.

[00:27:11] Well, he gave me a mandate to deliver hope to a lost and dying world. So that's my mandate. Yes.

[00:27:19] And my wife's mandate is the set to captive free so we've merged the two deliver hope to a lost and dying world and set to captive free.

[00:27:29] Like I said, this is my first interview I've ever given. It wasn't time to share this with people yet but now's the time.

[00:27:38] I want to pass on a legacy the future generations and I want to reveal to people the things that I've been blessed with.

[00:27:48] I'm not anything special but God is special and I wanted to deliver that hope to this next generation in future generations.

[00:27:59] Wonderful. That's beautiful. Thank you so much, Robert for sharing all those things and as you mentioned earlier that you have a book and we are going to talk about just where to find that book today.

[00:28:10] We're not going to discuss the depth of the book but then it is out there that way the audience can connect with you on your website and purchase that book.

[00:28:17] But I do want to have you back on. Have you talked about the book possibly have you in your wife both talk about the way that God's using both of you in your ministry because

[00:28:26] Me too, I experienced the same thing that God promised me as a drug addict. I'm going to give you a wife that is going to be the backbone of your ministry and I didn't understand what that meant at the time.

[00:28:36] But I went through a discipleship program. I got back on my feet. I started giving a heart for ministry and I went to miss it. Missions in Brazil and God gave me a wife. My wife was literally the mouthpiece she was the translator for the words, so God is awesome.

[00:28:51] And so he has a mandate for all of us. He has a plan and purpose and I would love to see how God uses both of you together.

[00:28:57] Oh, that's a testimony. I'll just give her brief testimony.

[00:29:01] We met God spoke to me and told me, and asked me, are you willing to marry Jodi?

[00:29:09] And then he spoke to her. It took her a little longer to respond but we were married within a few months of meeting each other.

[00:29:17] We were older, of course. We had both heard from God and all her friends thought we were not some things. You don't even know him. It's okay. God spoke to me. God spoke to you.

[00:29:29] We got confirmation. We did. We took that leap of faith, jumping off the cliff together and we've never looked back.

[00:29:38] And something I wanted to point out as well that earlier you were talking about people who've been working for the Kingdom of Heaven.

[00:29:44] And I just something that came to mind is that God gives those gifts without repentance.

[00:29:49] He just got regret giving those gifts to his children. He is a good father and he wants us to use the gifts.

[00:29:56] And so I want to just encourage the audience today if you had been a person that has received a gift.

[00:30:01] And in one way or the other you've used that to the Kingdom of Heaven, seek it again because the Lord still has that for you.

[00:30:09] And He has plans and a purpose for your life. So Robert, thank you for joining us today. I really appreciate it.

[00:31:09] When I preach, he does too.

[00:31:12] I do spontaneous preaching and spontaneous writing as directed by the Holy Spirit.

[00:31:16] It's just a gift he's given me. So I sit and type.

[00:31:20] And if you want to hear...

[00:31:23] If you're encountering any obstacles in your life, that blessings and curses, remember God said that I put before you, blessings and curses, life and death choose life.

[00:31:35] If the enemy's been attacking your finances, your relationships, your marriage, get that book because it will help you overcome curses

[00:31:43] and anything that enemy that lies the enemy's tried to put on you.

[00:31:48] And I'm not trying to sell the book.

[00:31:50] I want you to be free.

[00:31:52] I believe in deliverance.

[00:31:54] I believe that we all need to be free.

[00:31:57] Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

[00:32:01] Yeah, we need a paradigm shift.

[00:32:03] We need to see through that heel that lends.

[00:32:06] That's awesome.

[00:32:07] Robert, I appreciate your time. There's so much that we can learn from you.

[00:33:04] I pray that you would have a deeper walk with God.

[00:33:09] And any obstacles that the enemy has been putting along your way,

[00:33:14] that I speak victory, whether you have a health challenge or God,

[00:33:20] is Jehovah Rafa, he's our healer, he's our provider, he's got everything.

[00:33:27] If you will just reach out and believe by faith, that he keeps his word.
